| Background and Objectives: With the vigorous promotion of national fitness, the vigorous development of competitive sports, mass sports and school sports in China,as well as the increasingly serious problem of population aging, there are more and more patients with unilateral limb injury and activity disorder, mainly caused by the motor system of unilateral limb movement disorder, such as fracture, muscle or ligament injury, etc. And unilateral limb movement disorders caused by neurological diseases, such as hemiplegia due to stroke.Due to the injury between limbs, immobilization is often required for a long time, followed by muscle atrophy, muscle strength decline and other phenomena. In the short term,a period of training of one limb can benefit the contralateral untrained limb, and this phenomenon is referred to as cross transfer.Mirror visual feedback as an auxiliary means of cross migration has been recognized by scholars at home and abroad. It is believed that under mirror conditions,it can expand the effect of cross migration, mainly through the activation of mirror neurons in the brain through mirror training. It is found that mirror neurons and brain regions involved in cross migration have obvious overlap. The magnitude of migration can be further enhanced. However, most of the current research originates from the analysis and inference on the theoretical level, and the research on the application of theory to empirical research is relatively few. Therefore, this study explores whether there is an interaction between mirror visual feedback and cross transfer.A randomized controlled trial is conducted to explore whether unilateral upper limb mirror training will produce stronger transfer effects on the circumference, maximum muscle strength and muscle endurance of the untrained upper limb.Research methods: This study mainly used literature, experimental and mathematical statistics methods.Thirty-two subjects were randomly divided into four groups: 60%1RM practice group,60%1RM practice group,80%1RM practice group and 80%1RM practice group. Each group had 8 subjects. The intervention lasted for 9 weeks, three times a week. The upper limb circumference, maximum strength and muscle endurance of the subjects were tested and analyzed in the pre-experimental week and after the last week of training.Results:(1)Under 60%1RM condition, the circumferences on the training side of the mirror group and the non-mirror group were significantly different(P<0.01),and the circumferences on the non-training side of the mirror group and the non-mirror group were not significantly different(P>0.05).In terms of maximum strength, there was a significant difference between the trained side and the untrained side in the mirror group(P<0.01),and there was a significant difference between the trained side and the untrained side in the non-mirror group(P<0.01),and there was a significant difference between the untrained side and the untrained side(P<0.05).In terms of muscle endurance, there was a significant difference between the trained side and the untrained side in the mirror group(P<0.01),and there was a significant difference between the trained side and the untrained side in the non-mirror group(P<0.05),and there was a significant difference between the untrained side and the trained side(P<0.01).(2)Under 80%1RM condition, the training side circumference had a very significant difference in the mirror condition(P<0.01),the training side circumference had a significant difference in the non-mirror condition(P<0.05),and the non-training side circumference had no significant difference in either the mirror group or the non-mirror group(P>0.05).In terms of maximum muscle strength and muscle endurance, there were significant differences between the training side and the non-training side in both mirror group and non-mirror group(P<0.01).(3)Under 60%1RM and 80%1RM load, there was no significant difference in the circumference of the non-trained side in the mirror group(P>0.05),but the increase amplitude of 80%1RM load was better than that of 60%1RM load. The change rate of the mirror group under 60%1RM load was 0.15%,and that of the mirror group under 80%1RM load was 0.74%.In terms of maximum muscle strength, the mirror group had a very significant difference in the non-training side under both loads(P<0.01).In terms of the increase magnitude, the change rate of the mirror group under 60%1RM load was 19.89%,and the change rate of the mirror group under 80%1RM load was 30.06%.The increase amplitude of 80%1RM load was significantly greater than that of 60%1RM load training. In terms of muscular endurance, there was a very significant difference in the non-training side of the mirror group(P<0.01).In terms of the growth rate, the muscular endurance of the mirror group increased by 31% under 60%1RM load, and that of the mirror group increased by 50.6% under 80%1RM load, and the growth rate of the 80%1RM load was significantly greater than that of the 60%1RM load.Conclusions:(1)Under 60%1RM load, the mirror group and the non-mirror group did not show migration effect in circumference; In terms of maximum muscle strength and muscle endurance, the training side showed a very significant increase. On the non-training side, the mirror group showed a more obvious transfer effect than the non-mirror group.(2)Under 80%1RM load, the mirror group and the non-mirror group did not show migration effect in the circumference; In terms of maximum muscle strength and muscle endurance, the training side showed a significant increase. On the non-training side, the mirror group and the non-mirror group both had a transfer effect, but the mirror group showed a greater transfer effect than the non-mirror group.(3)When 60%1RM load was compared with 80%1RM load,no migration effect was observed under either mirror or non-mirror conditions. In terms of maximum muscle strength and muscle endurance, both produced significant migration effects in the no-mirror condition, while both loads produced very significant migration effects in the mirror condition. In terms of the growth magnitude, the 80%1RM load migrated more significantly than the 60%1RM load. |
