Research On Thanksgiving Education For College Students In The New Era

On 16 October 2022,General Secretary Xi Jinping stressed in his report to the20 th Party Congress that "the fundamental question of education is what kind of people to train,how to train them and for whom to train them.The root of cultivating people lies in establishing morality".College students in the new era are given the historical responsibility to achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,so they need to continuously improve their ideological and moral level and cultivate a sound personality,while gratitude is an excellent character that college students in the new era must have.In the face of the overall situation of the strategy for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and the unprecedented changes in the world,students of the new era must work more closely around the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core,resolutely uphold the authority and centralized leadership of the Party Central Committee,feel the Party’s benevolence,listen to the Party’s words and follow the Party.Most of the college students in the new era are "post-00s",and the changes in social environment make them different from the college students in the past,their personalities are more distinctive,their thinking is more active,the amount of information received is greater,the channels are wider and the content is richer,and the work of thanksgiving education for college students in the new era has ushered in new changes and new challenges.Therefore,there is an urgent need to explore the reality of thanksgiving education for college students in the new era,strengthen thanksgiving education for college students in the new era in a targeted manner,guide them to become excellent youths of the new era who have ideals,bear responsibilities and know how to be thankful,so that they can advance with vigour and perseverance and bring incessant impetus to achieve the second century goal.Based on the principle of combining theory and practice,this paper adopts the literature combing method,questionnaire survey method and interview method,and conducts a research on the thanksgiving education of college students in the new era according to the ideas of raising problems,analyzing problems and solving problems.Through combing the literature,this paper gives a brief overview of the connotation,main content,basic characteristics and theoretical basis of the new-age college students’ thanksgiving education,and concludes that thanksgiving education is conducive to improving the moral quality of college students,promoting the construction of a socialist harmonious society,inheriting the excellent Chinese traditional culture and promoting the harmonious coexistence between human beings and nature;through conducting questionnaire surveys on college students and interviews with teachers and parents,the current situation of thanksgiving education for college students in the new age is investigated.The results show that the overall situation of thanksgiving education of college students in the new era is good,but there are still problems such as the disconnection between the knowledge and action of college students’ self-gratitude education,the low degree of importance attached to family thanksgiving education,the need to improve the effectiveness of college thanksgiving education,and the lack of a strong atmosphere for thanksgiving education in society,etc.The reasons for the problems were analyzed in depth,i.e.there are deviations in college students’ thanksgiving cognition,family education emphasizes Finally,it proposes to strengthen the self-cultivation of students’ gratitude awareness,strengthen the basic role of family gratitude education,improve the effectiveness of gratitude education in colleges and universities,and create a strong atmosphere of gratitude in society to optimize the strategy of gratitude education for students in the new era.Whether college students in the new era have the quality of gratitude is not only related to their personal all-round development,but also to the realization of the dream of great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Cultivating the quality of gratitude among new-age college students can never be accomplished alone,but requires the joint efforts of college students,their families,schools and society to deal with various new problems in gratitude education,so as to continuously improve the effect of gratitude education and make new-age college students consciously take up the mission and responsibility of achieving the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,enhance their moral quality,cultivate their true talents and cultivate This will enable students of the new era to consciously take up their mission and responsibility to achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,improve their moral qualities,cultivate their true knowledge and skills,and push forward the great cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
