Gratitude means someone's thanksgiving for the help that the other one once have given. Thanksgiving education is a kind of social practical activities, which means society or social organization uses certain grateful concept grateful viewpoint and grateful standard to educate the students to recognize thanksgiving and form a kind of thankful character that have been needed by some societies or some social classes. Thanksgiving is Chinese nation's traditional virtue, which is very important influence for improving college students'moral quality and harmony development of the whole society. However, some college students don't value consciousness of their got loving kindness and lack of consciousness of gratitude in the modern moral education, which have been seriously deviates from the aim of the college's moral education and draws attentions and researches from college's moral educational workers. Through studying the concepts,the necessities,the contents and the characteristics of colleges'thanksgiving education, this paper want to find out the problems and the reasons of modern colleges'thanksgiving education and gain the countermeasures of modern colleges' thanksgiving education. It has theoretical and practical important meanings on enhance the effectiveness of ideological and political education.This paper studies and analyses the related issues with the current gratitude education of college students mainly from five aspects.The first part, "studies about scientific connotation of gratitude and gratitude education", which is focus on the theoretical research of the gratitude education, is the theoretical base of this paper. This part mainly discusses about scientific connotation of gratitude and gratitude education as well as the theories related to gratitude.The second part, "studies about the necessities of gratitude education", which develops upon the research of the theoretical basis of the first part and further make an in-depth analysis about the necessities of gratitude education for the theoretical support of the existence of the gratitude education.The third part, "studies of the contents and the characteristics of gratitude education", set off by the former fundamental theories, mainly discusses the contents and the characteristics of gratitude education and lay the foundation for the latter practical research of gratitude education.The fourth part, "studies of the problems and the reasons of colleges' gratitude education". In the light of the concrete conditions of the current colleges'gratitude education, this section also points out the main problems exist in the current gratitude education of college students and the causations for them, which provides the realistic base for the countermeasures of colleges' gratitude education.The fifth part, "studies of the countermeasures of colleges' gratitude education". This part is the most important section of this paper, which try to find out the concrete countermeasures of colleges' gratitude education from the four angle of students,colleges,families and societies. It is also the logical end-result of this paper.
