Thanksgiving is Chinese nation's traditional virtue, it is a heartfelt approval to the nature, the society and other people's kindness and convenience, it is also a kind of understanding, emotion and behavior of sincere repayment. In building a harmonious socialist society today, to strengthen the college education of Thanksgiving, and guide students know and understand Thanksgiving, and sense of gratitude into action, to the achievement of person and person, person and society, person and nature between the harmony of great significance. only let students learn, learn to be grateful, for countries with a strong sense of responsibility, grateful for the people around, can undertake the task given country, achieves truly"under the care and sorrow, after all of joy but joy", in order to revitalize the Chinese nation. Based on the xinjiang undergraduate thanksgiving qualities are analyzed, and put forward the gratitude to improve college education, the importance of ideology and morality and education to enhance students'gratitude to the suggestions and countermeasures, in order to cultivate, kindness, thus realizing the feelings of ideological and political education of university students is the final purpose, and promote comprehensive quality improvement.The thesis divides into three parts:The first part probes into the theory of gratitude education. First it has defined the concept and analyzed the essence of gratitude and gratitude education. Secondly, gratitude education discussed four principles to be followed. The third, it expounds the content of gratitude education: the gratitude for parents'education, the gratitude for the nation and social's training the gratitude for classmates and friends'helping, the gratitude for nature's gift. Finally, from college student's sound personality, responsibility consciousness training, social competitive improved three aspects of gratitude education significance.In the second part, according to the questionnaire, the author analyses the current situation of college students'gratitude sense firstly, which from four aspects of how treating to your family members, teacher and mother school, classmates and friends, your nation and the society. Then the author analyses and sums up the current situation of the lack of college students'gratitude sense from the four aspects of home education, scholastic education, society environment and the student self.In the third part, it discusses the four pairs of students'effective gratitude educational response—social environment's influence is the key to gratitude education, we should establish a social mechanism and create a gratitude custom in society; the school education training is the core of gratitude education, we must strengthen the concept of gratitude education of university students, rich gratitude education means and create a campus gratitude atmosphere; the guidance of family education is the premise of gratitude education, we should set an example of gratitude, refine their feelings of gratitude and strengthen gratitude behavior; college students'self-cultivation is the foothold of gratitude education, we should study hard, be good at introspection, dare to practice, and sublimate the gratitude emotion.
