Since the Ministry of Education and six other departments put forward the Opinions on Strengthening the Construction of Rural Teachers in the New Era in August 2020,it is expected to improve the construction of rural teachers in 3-5 years.Up to now,it has been 3years since the promulgation of the policy,and the construction of rural teachers has been preliminarily improved.As a strong city of education in Sichuan,Mianyang City,after experiencing the reform of physical education examination,focuses on increasing the development of junior high school physical education.However,due to the influence of economic and social factors,the development of junior high school physical education in rural areas of Mianyang City is still not optimistic.This paper takes the living state of rural junior high school physical education teachers in Mianyang city as the research object,adopts the methods of literature,field survey,questionnaire survey,mathematical statistics,interviews and so on,through analyzing the vocational living situation of rural junior high school physical education teachers in Mianyang city,finds out the problems existing in the vocational living situation of rural junior high school physical education teachers in Mianyang city,analyzes the deficiencies and puts forward corresponding optimization strategies.The main research results are as follows:(1)The structure of rural PE teachers is unbalance,the quantity is insufficient,and the aging of teachers is serious.(2)Rural junior middle school physical education teachers in Mianyang city do not understand the policy.(3)The sports venues have been improved,but the teaching equipment is old and aging,the replacement is not timely,the teaching equipment is not perfect,and the objective environment of teaching needs to be improved;Physical education teachers work busy,teachers work enthusiasm is not high.(4)Although the welfare benefits have been improved,the growth rate is not large,and the treatment of teachers is still not ideal;Teachers need to strengthen physical exercise because of their high pressure,single lifestyle and lack of recreational activities.(5)There are problems in the growth mechanism of teachers,and the promotion of professional titles is difficult;Less training,no quality training,professional development is limited.(6)Suggestions to optimize the professional living condition of rural physical education teachers in Mianyang City: do a good job of publicity and implementation of the policy,establish a supervision mechanism;Strengthen the capital investment of rural teachers,perfect the treatment mechanism;Improving the growth mechanism and training quality of rural PE teachers;Establish the teacher flow mechanism,strengthen the excellent teacher flow;Improve the environment mechanism,improve the status of rural PE teachers,realize humanistic care;Do a good job in campus management and strengthen the study of physical education;Strengthen teachers’ self-spiritual motivation,set up correct professional view,learn to adjust pressure,strengthen professional development.
