Faced with the continuous growth of population and the change and development of industrial structure,Chongqing is facing the contradictory interweaving period of mismatch between employment demand and labor supply.How the labor market will develop in the future and how to effectively solve the employment problem need to study both the supply side and the demand side,explore the factors affecting the changes at both ends,and adhere to the combination of an efficient market and a viable government.In this context,in order to further study the changing trend of labor supply and demand in Chongqing during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period and promote the coordinated development of Chongqing’s economy and people’s livelihood,firstly,the theory of influencing factors of labor supply and demand is expounded,and relevant literature at home and abroad is sorted out.Secondly,combined with the data of the seventh census and Chongqing Statistical Yearbook,this paper analyzes the current situation of labor force in Chongqing from the perspectives of supply,demand and matching of supply and demand,and from the overall and regional aspects.Thirdly,guided by the expected goal of the "14th FiveYear Plan",machine learning method is used to forecast and analyze the labor supply,and two methods with different emphasis on factors,namely economic aggregate and structural change model and employment elasticity coefficient method,are used to forecast and analyze the labor demand.Finally,based on the above conclusions,the contradictions and causes of labor supply and demand in Chongqing were analyzed from a macro perspective,and combined with the micro-data of Chongqing enterprise network direct reporting platform,the multi-period DID model was constructed,and the industry differentiation phenomenon occurred when enterprises were affected by the epidemic was analyzed from a micro perspective under the circumstances of parallel trend test and placebo test.The research results show that the labor force in Chongqing is in and will be in the basic pattern of oversupply for a long time,and the employment-industrial structure,employmentpopulation structure and other structural contradictions are prominent.Under the impact of the epidemic,there are also problems such as the reduction of labor demand and the great difference between industries in the impact of the epidemic.Combined with the research and data analysis,this paper summarizes the main reasons for the contradiction between labor supply and demand in Chongqing in the following aspects: high recruitment requirements;The government does not pay enough attention to employment in rural areas;Enterprise digital transformation has a great impact on employment structure;The society gives technical talents low social identity;Deep population aging;The university training mode is single,the supply and demand of production,university and research do not match;Enterprises tend to employ younger people;Government policies on education investment and employment absorption are not in place;The discipline construction and practical teaching system in colleges and universities are not perfect;The enterprise’s ability to deal with emergencies is weak.Finally,in order to alleviate the contradiction between labor supply and demand in Chongqing and solve the structural employment problem,the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward. |
