In recent years,"voluntary service" has become an important way of social governance,social construction and civilized practice in the new era.It is not only an important sign of social civilization progress,but also an important path to cultivate civic consciousness and promote social construction.By 2021,the number of real-name registered volunteers nationwide has reached 190 million,and volunteer services have made remarkable progress.College student volunteers are an important part of the volunteer team in the new era.At present,there are problems such as high volunteer turnover rate and lack of volunteer behavior in volunteer service organizations.The sustainability of volunteer behavior is the internal inexhaustible driving force to promote the long-term sustainable development of volunteer service cause.Based on the research in Y University S College,the author aims at the sustainability of college students’voluntary behavior.With the goal of establishing the role identity of college students’ volunteers and enhancing the sustainability of voluntary behavior,the author uses the role identity theory to design and implement the program of college students’ voluntary behavior intervention group and individual intervention,so as to promote the sustainability of college students’ voluntary service.In this paper,unstructured interview method,participatory observation method and questionnaire method were used to collect data,to estimate and diagnose the problem of the unsustainability of college students’ volunteer service behavior and its symptoms and causes.It was found that the lack of sustainability of college students’ volunteer service behavior mainly includes such symptoms as shrinking volunteer time,decreasing volunteer frequency and negative volunteer emotion.The reasons mainly exist in the micro system,the intermediate system and the macro system.In view of these specific symptoms and causes,the author carried out a series of group and individual intervention on college volunteers.The collected assessment data showed that group and individual intervention under the guidance of role identity theory could effectively improve the role cognition of the service object,enrich the role experience,standardize the role behavior,and cultivate the role identity of college volunteers.Thus,it promotes the sustainability of college students’ voluntary behavior.The role identity theory guided by the sustainable intervention group of college students’voluntary behavior and the case practice show that the role identity theory is effective in improving the persistence of college students’ voluntary behavior.The country needs to improve the system and norms of volunteer organizations.Volunteer organizations themselves also need to establish more communication platforms,do a good job in volunteer service publicity,and help volunteers realize their role identity. |
