| On November 29,2018,the National Conference on the rule of law in education proposed that the comprehensive rule of law in education should escort the dream of strengthening education and cultivate socialist citizens under the rule of law;The measures for the appointment and management of Vice Principals of the rule of law in primary and secondary schools promulgated on December 27,2021 stipulates that "from May 1,2022,each school shall be equipped with at least one vice principal of the rule of law".It can be seen that the state attaches importance to the protection of minors and the importance of legal education to national education.Legal education is the ideological basis of ruling the country by law.The cultivation of legal consciousness with primary school students as the main body is an important basis and link of teenagers’ legal education.According to the instructions of the Central Committee,to cultivate pupils’ awareness of the rule of law,we should start from childhood and from the classroom,and sow the seeds of "rule of law" in the hearts of every child.This study combines the requirements of the outline of youth rule of law education and the curriculum standard of primary school morality and rule of law,and selects the sixth grade students of Linfen l primary school as the research object.Adopt the method of action research,strictly follow the steps of "plan-teaching implementation-effect and evaluation-Reflection and summary",take cultivating students’ awareness of constitutional supremacy,rules,rights and obligations and law-abiding consciousness as the action goal,and explore the effectiveness of topic based teaching in cultivating pupils’ awareness of the rule of law in the course of morality and law.This action research is divided into three stages.In the preliminary preparation,the "ice breaking action" is completed.Through interviews,teachers’ views on legal education and the development stage and level of students’ legal consciousness are understood.The first trial of topic based teaching in primary school moral and legal course is carried out,and a comprehensive layout is made from objectives,case selection,topic based teaching steps and evaluation methods.In the implementation stage,according to the four steps of "topic based teaching" : "select topic","design topic","carry out topic" and "topic reflection",two rounds of action research are completed,and two theme activities are carried out in each round.The first round cultivates students’ awareness of the rule of law from the macro level,and the second round designs topic based activities from the micro level after learning lessons and adhering to the principle of being close to students’ life.After two rounds of action research,through the analysis of students and classroom teaching,we can reflect and summarize each activity.Using topic based teaching to cultivate students’ awareness of the rule of law in the course of morality and the rule of law in primary school,students have the following changes:in terms of consciousness,from abiding by the rules and obeying the law to consciously knowing and using the law;In terms of behavior,from no rules to common maintenance rules;In terms of cognition,from the dispensability of the rule of law to the awakening of the consciousness of rights and obligations;In terms of interest,from exclusion of learning to learning law;In terms of emotion,from passive response to learning law,start with me.Novice teachers’ legal teaching ability and legal literacy have also been improved.This shows that topic based teaching not only helps to cultivate students’ awareness of the rule of law,but also provides new ideas for the development of morality and the rule of law in primary schools.Therefore,in the future research,all schools should work in two ways: hardware and software facilities fully support the teaching of the rule of law;Teachers should study both inside and outside,improve their connotation of the rule of law and improve their teaching ability of the rule of law at the same time. |
