Since the new era,with the accelerating pace of building a country under the rule of law in China,great achievements have been made in building a country under the rule of law,and the concept of governing the country by law has gradually gained popular support.Junior middle school is a key period for students to form their world outlook,outlook on life and values.As the future of the motherland and the hope of the nation,strengthening the cultivation of junior middle school students’ awareness of the rule of law is of great significance for promoting the all-round development of junior middle school students,constructing a safe and harmonious campus and promoting the construction of a country ruled by law.Under the background of building a country ruled by law,China’s basic education reform is also in full swing.Centering on the new curriculum reform and the expansion of disciplinary literacy,the Ministry of Education changed the course of "Ideological and moral Character" into "Morality and rule of law" in 2016,which juxtaposed "morality" with "rule of law".This obvious change further illustrates the significance of the education of rule of law.For junior high school students,the key of legal education lies in the cultivation of legal consciousness.To continue to improve the effect of the rule of law consciousness training in junior high school students,this paper in the process of research into a school of yanji city,the methods of literature research,observation method and interview method,by means of questionnaire and teacher interview,for junior high school students to study the present situation of the cultivation of the consciousness of rule of law,to find the current problems in the process of students’ consciousness of rule of law culture.And combined with the actual exploration of solutions,the formation of effective programs,to constantly improve the junior middle school students’ awareness of the rule of law training effect of wisdom and strength.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,which focuses on the background,purpose and significance of this research as well as the research status at home and abroad,research content,research methods and innovation points of the paper.The second part focuses on the introduction and importance of the cultivation of students’ consciousness of rule of law in morality and rule of law course in junior middle school.The third part,through questionnaire survey and teacher interview,sorted out the current situation and existing problems of the cultivation of students’ awareness of the rule of law,and analyzed the causes of the problems;The fourth part starts with the problems and puts forward the corresponding strategies.The fifth part,taking the lesson "Basic Civic Duty" as an example,shares the design scheme of improving students’ awareness of the rule of law in the classroom teaching effect,so as to provide reference for more teachers’ actual teaching.
