Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era.In the new historical period,our Party has always adhered to the educational policy of combining education with productive labour.Under the background of the realisation of the "two centenary goals",based on China’s actual national conditions,and according to the new characteristics of the changes of the times,social development and all-round human development,labour education has been placed in China’s education.The prominent position of career development.In 2018,at the National Education Conference,General Secretary Xi Jinping officially proposed to include labour education into the overall requirements of training socialist builders and successors,clearly expand the original "moral,intellectual,physical and aesthetic" to "moral,intellectual,physical and aesthetic labour",and upgrade the "four education" to "five educations",forming a comprehensive development of moral,intellectual,physical and aesthetic The education system of the exhibition has greatly enriched the Party’s education policy in the new era and highlighted the important position of labour education in China’s education.Therefore,in order to implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s requirements for labour education,it is very necessary to strengthen the theoretical research of labour education in colleges and universities in the new era.Based on this background,this article studies labour education from the micro level of colleges and universities,focusses on the core issue of how colleges and universities to strengthen students’ labour education in the new era,analyses the historical evolution,main achievements and existing problems of labour education in colleges and universities,and then analyses the results of the results.International problems,put forward countermeasures and suggestions to strengthen labour education in colleges and universities in the new era.The research includes three major parts: the problem of labour education in colleges and universities in the new era is the starting point of this article;the theoretical foundation of labour education in colleges and universities in the new era is the basis of this article;the investigation of countermeasures for labour education in colleges and universities in the new era is the core task of this article.This article takes some college students in China as the research object.Through the combination of questionnaire survey and interview,this article adopts a variety of research methods such as literature research method,questionnaire survey method and interview method.The research process found that: With the promulgation of the Opinions and the Outline,major universities have carried out explorations,actively implemented the Party’s education policy,and incorporated labour education into the whole process of talent training.Through the reform and innovation of labour education methods,the effectiveness of labour education in colleges and universities has achieved remarkable results.The specific manifestations are in the following four aspects: first,the concept of labour education has been continuously enhanced,and students’ labour consciousness has been strengthened;second,the practice of labour education has been carried out in an orderly manner,and students’ labour ability has been improved;third,the labour education policy has been effectively implemented,and students’ employment and entrepreneurship have been improved;fourth,The education system of colleges and universities has been gradually optimised.The conclusion of the study: However,through investigation,it is found that there are still many colleges and universities that have not actively promoted labour education,so that the effect of labour education is not ideal,and there are many problems that need to be solved.First,the curriculum of labour education is incomplete;second,the evaluation mechanism of labour education is single;third,the security force of labour education is weak;fourth,the campus atmosphere of labour education is insufficient.In response to these problems,this article tries to put forward practical countermeasures and suggestions from the four aspects of curriculum system,mechanism construction,security system and campus culture.
