Since the introduction of the "13th Five-Year Plan" for sports development, and particularly after the implementation of the "double reduction" policy, the scale of extracurricular sports training has gradually expanded. However, there are issues with the unclear approval process for sports training institutions, disguised subject-based training in some institutions, incomplete or unlicensed qualifications of instructors, nonstandardized teaching facilities, and significant safety hazards. These problems pose a serious threat to the development of youth sports. Therefore,it is urgent to address the governance and optimization of extracurricular sports training development. In December2021,the General Office of the State Sports Administration issued the "Code of Conduct for Extracurricular Sports Training" as an important measure to regulate the development of extracurricular sports training. However, there are differences between the expected and actual effects of implementing relevant regulations at the provincial level, particularly in Jiangxi Province. This study employed methods such as literature review, questionnaire survey, mathematical statistics, and logical analysis to conduct in-depth investigations from the perspective of participant satisfaction in extracurricular sports training. The study further analyzed the current development status and identified existing problems, and based on this, proposed an in-depth optimization path for extracurricular sports training development in Jiangxi Province. The research results indicate that:1.The satisfaction level of participants in extracurricular physical education training in Jiangxi Province is generally moderate. It is evident that the overall development of extracurricular physical education training in Jiangxi Province is not promising. The satisfaction of participants in safety education, first aid, teaching objectives, and teaching effectiveness is significantly low, indicating a need for targeted optimization in these areas.2.There are variations in participant satisfaction in extracurricular physical education training in Jiangxi Province across different regions, training entities, and participant types.Specifically, satisfaction is higher in economically developed areas compared to economically underdeveloped areas.Participants are more satisfied with the cost of afterschool physical education services provided by schools compared to off-campus training institutions, while off-campus training institutions have better teaching and safety facilities than after-school physical education services provided by schools.Participants in programs with more training sessions and longer durations tend to have higher satisfaction compared to those in programs with fewer sessions and shorter durations.3.The main issues in the development of extracurricular physical education training in Jiangxi Province include uneven overall development, differences among training entities, lack of sports awareness and service consciousness among some training entities, inconsistency between promotion and student expectations, passive handling of feedback and opinions, uneven levels of instructors, resulting in unclear teaching effectiveness, inadequate safety education, and insufficient safety assurance.4.During the process of extracurricular physical education training in Jiangxi Province, teaching quality and safety issues are relatively severe, and they significantly impact participant satisfaction. Therefore, participants have relatively high expectations for improvements in course teaching and safety.5.The optimization of extracurricular physical education training development in Jiangxi Province involves multiple stakeholders, including government departments, training institutions or organizations, and coaches, forming a diversified optimization model.Six optimization paths are proposed, including improving regulatory mechanisms, promoting sports exchange, standardizing business management, strengthening teaching staff, optimizing curriculum teaching, and improving safety management. |
