Research On Modern Chinese Reading Test Questions Of Jinan Senior High School Entrance Examination Based On PISA Reading Literacy Test Framework

Reading ability is not only a necessary basic ability in students’ study and life,but also an important part of students’ Chinese core literacy.Therefore,it is particularly important to evaluate students’ reading ability objectively,fairly and effectively.However,combined with the reality,there are some problems in the modern Chinese reading test of the senior high school entrance examination,such as the serious tendency of proposition patterning,which affects the reliability and validity of the reading ability test.PISA is an influential reading literacy test project all over the world.Its proposition concept and test question characteristics can provide enlightenment and direction for improving the proposition of modern Chinese reading test questions in senior high school entrance examination.Referring to the PISA2018 reading literacy test framework,this paper analyzes the modern Chinese reading questions of Jinan senior high school entrance examination from 2011 to 2020 from four dimensions: reading situation,reading text,reading level and question type.It is found that there are some problems in the modern Chinese reading questions of Jinan senior high school entrance examination,such as lack of authenticity and diversity of reading situation,single text form,solidified type,few multi-source texts,prominent problems of "homogeneity" of reading materials,insufficient examination of high-order thinking,and low openness of the questions.In view of the problems found in the study,the following suggestions are put forward:(1)In terms of reading situation,increase the proportion of public and professional situation texts;(2)In terms of reading text,pay attention to the examination of discontinuous text and mixed text;Improve the richness of text types,enhance the proportion of multi-source texts and the heterogeneity of multi-source text reading materials;(3)In terms of reading level,attention should be paid to the examination of reading level of "evaluating quality and credibility" and "discovering and dealing with conflict";(4)In terms of reading questions,increase the number of open-ended questions.
