Reading is an important way for human to understand the world and a significant way to promote the development of students.Mathematical reading is an important way for students to learn.Mathematical reading literacy has not received enough attention and popularity in today’s mathematics education.In the practice of mathematics teaching,the teaching effect based on mathematical reading literacy has little effect.This study aims to verify the mathematical reading literacy structure of junior high school students and propose targeted teaching strategies to promote students to learn mathematics actively,efficiently and with high quality.The main ideas of the research: Based on the question that the level of mathematics reading literacy of junior high school students needs to be improved,this text studies the structure of junior middle school students mathematic reading literacy by means of literature research and questionnaire survey,and puts forward solutions.Literature research method: combing the research results on the concept and influencing factors of reading literacy,and laying a theoretical foundation.Questionnaire survey method: Prepare and distribute the mathematics reading literacy questionnaire for junior high school students,analyze the current situation of the data,and lay a realistic foundation.With the help of SPSS 26.0 and AMOS structural equation model,factor analysis was carried out to verify the structure.The main conclusions of the study: 1.Generally speaking,the mathematics reading literacy of junior high school students is still at a medium level and needs to be further cultivated.There are obvious regional and gender differences in mathematics reading literacy among junior high school students,but there is no obvious grade difference.The mathematics reading literacy level of junior high school students in urban areas is higher than that in remote rural areas.In terms of gender,boys have higher math reading literacy levels than girls.Compared with high school,the knowledge about mathematics reading in junior high school is relatively simple,and junior high school students can master most of the knowledge through their own hard work,so there is no significant difference in the level of mathematics reading literacy among junior high school students.2.Mathematical reading literacy includes three first dimensions: mathematical reading knowledge,mathematical reading ability,and mathematical reading emotion.Mathematical reading knowledge includes two secondary dimensions: mathematical reading content knowledge and mathematical reading strategy knowledge.Mathematical reading ability includes five secondary dimensions: mathematical reading transfer ability,mathematical reading spatial imagination,mathematical reading metacognition,mathematical reading conceptual understanding,and mathematical reading reasoning ability.Mathematical reading emotion includes four secondary dimensions: mathematical reading attitude,mathematical reading habit,mathematical reading criticality,and mathematical reading will.
