Under the background of the double reduction education policy,after-school service has been optimized and reformed in various regions in order to relieve stress on students,respect students’ individuality and stimulate students’ further development.The Ministry of Mianzhu Education has issued a series of documents about after-school service.After-school service is a necessary supplement to school education.In order to serve parents’ urgent problems,after-school service has been carried out and it is also an important guarantee to promote the healthy growth of students.It can effectively enhance the education service function and ease the parents’ burdens.In order to boost the needs for healthy development of students,they can also help parents to ease the problem of picking up,and let people have more sense of happiness and satisfaction.According to the spirit of the double reduction education policy,the writer mainly used questionnaires and interviews to investigate the execution of after-school programs in Junior high school of Mianzhu Middle School.We have been aware of the current situation,achievements and problems of in Junior high school of Mianzhu Middle School by giving out questionnaires for students,teachers and parents.At the same time the writer has interviewed main school leaders.To be specific as below:In the background of the double reduction education policy,there are some problems in the process of after-school service implementation:(1)Teachers are lack of enthusiasm to after-school service and the effect is not ideal;(2)There is too much pressure because of lack of enough teachers;(3)The structure is unreasonable and time is fragmented in the after-class programs content;(4)The after-school service modality is lack of diversity and students are not active in participationg;(5)Students and parents do not rate integral after-school service highly.There are some reasons:(1)There are two dilemmas of after-school service;(2)The government’s policy support for after-school services is insufficient and their management philosophy needs to be improved;(3)The after-school service managements system is not well-developed and the construction and reserve of teachers are not sufficient;(4)After-school servieces are short of funds and activities are limited;(5)The after-school service system lacks effective detection and incentive mechanism;(6)Both of students and parents cognition of after-school services need to be improved.This study will analyze the problems and based on the actual situation to table optimization proposals:(1)To transform the concept of education and improve the effective guidance of the government to after-school service;(2)To strengthern the subject consciousness of school leaders and strengthen the construction and reserve of school teachers;(3)To strengthen the collaboration between family and school and optimize after-school service logistical support system environment;(4)Establish an effective monitoring system and incentive mechanism for after-school service.This paper has a positive significance for Mianzhu city to further improve the after-school service and provide high-quality service for the majority of students and parents,and improve the quality of regional education.
