A Study On The Intervention Of Casework In The Stress Management Of Family Caregivers Of The Elderly With Disabilities

Under the influence of the objective law of the aging population and the aging of human body,the number and proportion of the disadled elderly will further expand,and the corresponding demand for caregivers will also increase.Because of the particularity of the disabled elderly,their care problems are more complicated than ordinary elderly people,and most of the family caregivers of the disabled elderly are relatives,relatives caregivers,namely family caregivers undertake the main care task.In the process of care,family caregivers provide care services for the elderly with disabilities.The elderly with disabilities cause economic,emotional,social and physical health pressure on the caregivers.How to relieve the pressure of family caregivers has become an urgent social problem to be solved.This study mainly focuses on the stress of family caregivers for the elderly with disabilities.Professional methods of social work are used to intervene family caregivers to help ease their stress and create a better care environment.First of all,the author interviewed 10 family caregivers who came into contact with during the work visit to understand the caregivers’ situation in the process of care,the characteristics and sources of stress.Then,with an obvious trait of pressure disabled elderly family caregivers as service object,refinement for multiple dimensions,and will take care of the problem from aspects of the pressure characteristics,source to measure the pressure of family caregivers condition,based on the theory of social support,to channel by using the method of case work disabled elderly family caregivers of pressure,help the service object to release pressure,Enhance their confidence in life,improve family happiness.Hu aunt through case study of social work intervention,through the information to establish a professional relationship,for caregivers,caregiver and family caregivers were evaluated,and then made the receive case,implementation and final three stages of work plans,for director role burden,such problems as insufficient source of economic and social support on the case for intervention.In case work,family caregivers are helped to overcome difficulties in their care work,explore the potential of caregivers’ families,link possible resources for them,and provide them with policy information.After the service,the client’s living conditions and thoughts and emotions have been significantly improved,and the pressure has been relieved.In the follow-up visit,the client’s mood and emotion were relatively stable,and an effective social support network was constructed.The patient’s care pressure was effectively alleviated,the case work was carried out smoothly,and the expected results were achieved.
