Comparative reading is an effective reading method.It is the starting point and foothold of teachers’ reading teaching.At the same time,it is also the methods and skills that students need to study in reading learning.Comparative reading method can not only improve teaching efficiency,but also enhance students’ reading ability and thinking quality.Applying the method to the prose in junior middle school is strengthening students’ understanding of prose.The introduction introduces the research background and significance,research status and research methods.The first chapter discusses the concept and significance of comparative reading method,the feasibility analysis of comparative reading method in modern prose teaching in junior middle school,and the theoretical basis of this topic.This paper examines its significance from teaching,thinking ability and reading ability.It is supported by text interaction theory,comparative teaching theory,transfer learning theory and theoretical works of constructivism.The second chapter through the questionnaire method to understand the current prose teaching methods and the application status of comparative reading method in prose teaching.It mainly includes the purpose,object,content and results of the investigation.The third chapter analyzes the problems reflected in the questionnaire,analyzes the causes of the problems on this basis,and summarizes them into two aspects: teachers and students.The survey results show that teachers have some problems,such as low frequency of using comparative reading method in prose teaching,less application of comparative reading method in cutting-edge teaching mode,lack of teaching students’ comparative methods,and single range of teachers’ selection of comparative reading papers;Students have some problems,such as weak enthusiasm for using comparative reading method in reading prose,there is no way to start in prose comparative reading,unfamiliar with comparative materials and unable to choose comparative reading materials independently.According to the above problems,the problems of teachers are due to teachers’ insufficient understanding of the value of comparative reading in prose teaching,teachers’ lack of pre class teaching design of comparative reading,and teachers’ less understanding of the cutting-edge multi text teaching model;The problems of students are that students think that prose comparative reading appears less frequently in the exam,students’ lack of preparation before prose comparative reading class,and students’ weak ability of analysis and integration in comparison.In view of the problems existing in the survey,the fourth chapter puts forward some strategies,such as teachers should apply the comparative reading method to the cutting-edge teaching mode,teachers should base on the resources inside and outside the class,choose the comparative materials in multiple dimensions,and promote students to apply the learned comparative methods to the practice of prose comparative reading. |
