| In recent years,the issue of children’s early education has been paid attention by the public and widely studied by academic circles.With the development of social economy and the implementation of rural revitalization strategy,increasingly more rural children’s family rearing problems have attracted people’s attention.Influenced by their own and environmental factors,rural parents have encountered great difficulties in raising their children.There are obvious problems in its parenting style,such as unscientific parenting concept,low caring parenting emotion and more authoritarian parenting behavior,which will not only reduce the quality of parenting,but also be detrimental to the healthy growth of children.How to improve the parenting style of rural children and urge parents to nurture their children with positive and healthy concepts,warm and abundant emotions and correct and appropriate behaviors is undoubtedly an academic and practical topic worthy of social workers’ in-depth thinking and sustained attention.In the previous researches on early childhood education,scholars paid more attention to fathers’ participation and inter-generational education,while ignoring the rural children’s family education methods.Therefore,improving the rural children’s family education methods has become the focus of this paper.The research on the improvement of rural children’s family upbringing is conducive to improving the quality of rural children’s family upbringing,promoting their healthy growth,and enriching the relevant academic research on the intervention of social work in children’s upbringing.This study was conducted using the method of group social work.According to Parker’s Questionnaire of Parenting Styles and the self-made interview outline,the author investigated the family parenting styles of rural children in Xunyi County,and found that many parents of rural children lacked scientific parenting ideas,understanding of children and paying attention to early childhood education.Lack of emotional communication with children in parenting,and lack of attention to children’s inner feelings;In the aspect of parenting behavior,there is a lack of independent training for children,and there are behaviors such as over-protection,interference,beating and scolding.In order to improve the rural children’s family education,solve the problems of parents,combined with the investigation of rural children’s family education,this paper sets the goal of the group work and activity process,and xunyi S village of six parents as the research object,based on social learning theory,group motivation theory and psychological social development theory,from parenting concept,emotion and parenting behavior three dimensions to carry out six group activities.After evaluating the process and results of group intervention,it shows that group intervention in the parenting style of rural children is effective.Group activities have a positive impact on improving the parenting ability and quality of rural children.Based on the practice of group work to improve rural children’s family rearing patterns,this paper summarizes the practical experience.This study points out the shortcomings of group work methods involved in research and makes a reflection analysis,with a view to providing suggestions and references for the related research on the improvement of rural children’s family rearing patterns. |
