In contemporary society,due to the traditional ideology,social competition,the difficulty of children entering school and so on,more and more elderly people take the responsibility of educating grandchildren in the family,alternate generation education mode has become the mainstream of Chinese family education.Although grandparents have rich practical experience in child rearing,it is easier to establish emotions with children.Due to the limitation of grandparents’ own knowledge level and the unscientific concept and way of rearing,grandparents’ guardians tend to produce various problems in rearing grandchildren.In this context,this study uses the theory of group dynamics and advantage perspective,and carries out practical intervention through the method of participatory observation,interview and questionnaire.According to the development stage of group work and from the perspective of the grandparents’ guardians,this study takes the grandparents’ guardians in intergenerational parenting families as the main object of study.By understanding the confusion and needs of the grandparents’ guardians,group activities aimed at improving the grandparents’ parenting ability are designed.Enable the grandparents’ guardians to achieve group goals by learning scientific parenting concepts and methods,learning communication skills with grandchildren,and establishing peer support groups.After the intervention of social work practice,social workers reflected the realization degree of the group goal through the questionnaire survey,the satisfaction survey of the group members and the self-evaluation of social workers.This paper is mainly divided into five parts: the first part is the research background and significance;the second part is the investigation of the current situation of the parenting of grandparents in Y village and the investigation of the difficulties and needs of the grandparents’ guardians in the parenting of grandparents in Y village based on questionnaires and interviews;the third part is the practical process and evaluation of the group work involved in the capacity building of the grandparents’ parenting.The fourth part is the research conclusion and countermeasures. |
