With the acceleration of China’s urbanization process,more and more attention has been paid to the psychological problems of rural children.The National People’s Congress and the National People’s Congress proposed to establish and improve the linkage mechanism of rural schools,social organizations and social work,and to accelerate the formation of a new pattern in which the professional forces of social work participate in the health protection of rural children.Therefore,the intervention of social work in rural children’s mental health has come into public view.However,among the numerous rural children,there is a special group--left-behind children.At an important stage of their growth,the absence of their parents will inevitably have an impact on their psychological capital,including optimism,sense of hope,resilience and self-efficacy.In the long run,this will also have a series of impacts on their school achievements,career,family and interpersonal relationships.Based on the above background,this study,from the professional perspective of school social work,evaluates and measures the psychological capital of the respondents with the methods of questionnaire,observation and interview.The methods of group counseling and group work are selected to improve the psychological capital of the respondents.Firstly,130 students in grade 4 of S primary school in shenyang were selected for measurement.The results showed that under similar living environment and educational background,the level of psychological capital of left-behind children was lower than that of un-left-behind children.After further analysis of the factors affecting the psychological capital of the research subjects,it is concluded that social factors have a certain impact on the psychological capital of left-behind children.After focusing on the analysis of the influencing factors,the author formulated the service plan and conducted group counseling for two classes.Ten randomly selected children were involved in the group work.The evaluation results showed that the intervention of group counseling and group work had a positive effect on improving the psychological capital of the subjects.The intervention of school social work is an effective means to improve the mental capital of left-behind children.At the end of the research,the author summarizes a series of methods and skills,and puts forward the corresponding Suggestions and countermeasures. |
