With the development of economy and technology,smart phones have been popularized in China.Especially when smart phones are combined with rural left-behind children who lack parental supervision,the great temptation brought by its entertainment function will easily lead to the double dependence of rural left-behind children on cell phones both psychologically and behaviorally,and then affect the healthy growth of left-behind children,which may affect the quality of sleep,myopia,and the decline of grades in light cases.In serious cases,some criminal behaviors may even occur.This paper investigates the current situation of cell phone dependence among left-behind children in village Z of Zhengzhou City,Henan Province,by using mixed research methods.In the intervention service,the author provided professional cell phone dependence improvement group service based on cognitive-behavioral theory,and through group work method,made the left-behind children in village Z aware of their own cell phone dependence,helped them to self-regulate,and finally achieved the purpose of improving their cell phone dependence.After a series of activities,the study found that rich and interesting activities and sufficient companionship are the key to improving the current situation of cell phone dependence of left-behind children,and that a professional perspective of social work is highly effective and advantageous to intervene in this problem.Finally,based on the research,we propose targeted countermeasures to the problem.
