The fourth industrial revolution centered on artificial intelligence technology has arrived.Compared with previous industrial revolutions,this industrial revolution has a wider coverage and greater influence.Every country in the world will usher in a profound and systematic revolution.In recent years,collective labor relations have become a research hotspot in academia.The essence of artificial intelligence and the collectivization of labor relations is the relationship between technological progress and production relations.The rapid development of artificial intelligence,while greatly improving productivity,will also bring about changes in collective labor relations.Since the 1990 s,the United States,the United Kingdom,Germany and other European developed countries have begun to show labor polarization,that is,the proportion of high-and low-skilled labor has increased,while the proportion of medium-skilled labor has declined.There is no consensus on whether there is labor polarization in our country.Artificial intelligence has an impact on the employment structure of the labor force,breaking the original low-level balanced labor relationship structure,causing structural unemployment and the differentiation of laborers,and will ultimately affect the collectivization of labor relations.This paper first analyzes the impact mechanism of artificial intelligence on the collectivization of labor relations from the perspective of technological empowerment and the perspective of Marxist political economy,analyzes the impact mechanism of artificial intelligence induced labor employment structure polarization from the perspective of work tasks,and analyzes the mechanism by which the employment structure of the labor force affects the collectivization of labor relations,and then analyzes the current situation of artificial intelligence,labor employment structure and labor relations collectivization in my country,in order to provide theoretical support for the research of this paper.The empirical part is based on the panel data of 30 provinces,municipalities and autonomous regions in my country from 2003 to 2019,using the mediation effect method to analyze the impact of artificial intelligence on the collectivization of labor relations and its mechanism.The results show that: artificial intelligence has a dissolving effect on the collectivization of labor relations;labor employment structure plays a mediating effect in the ablation of labor relations collectivization by artificial intelligence.Among them,Artificial intelligence has a role in dissolving the collectivization of labor relations by increasing the employment ratio of high-skilled and low-skilled labor and reducing the employment ratio of middle-skilled labor.From a regional perspective,in the eastern region,the effect of artificial intelligence on the collectivization of labor relations is not significant;in the central and western regions,the ablation effect of artificial intelligence on the collectivization of labor relations is significant.Finally,the paper puts forward the following policy suggestions: first,develop artificial intelligence to create jobs;second,optimize the construction of trade union organizations in the central and western regions;third,strengthen the protection of low-end labor;fourth,strengthen the skill training for middle-skilled labor;fifth,establish a high-end human capital restraint mechanism.
