Research On The Integration Of Scientist Spirit Into College Students’ Ideological And Political Education

In June 2019,the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and The General Office of the State Council issued the Opinions on Further Promoting the Spirit of Scientists,Strengthening the Style of Work and Improving the Style of Study,which clearly defined the basic connotation of the spirit of scientists in the new era as patriotism,innovation,truth-seeking,dedication,collaboration and education for the first time.In each historical period of revolution,construction and reform,our party attaches great importance to scientific and technological work and the development of scientists.The spirit of scientists in different historical periods is an important part of the Chinese spirit.At the same time,from the educational goal and content,the scientist spirit and ideological and political education have coupling.Integrating the scientist spirit into the ideological and political education of college students can make the ideological and political education concrete,help to bring into play the educational function of ideological and political education,and improve the effectiveness of ideological and political education.On the basis of analyzing the previous academic research results,it presents the domestic and foreign research status of scientific spirit,scientists spirit,and scientist spirit and Ideological and political Education of College students by using historical method and literature research method.It is found that there are few practical researches on the subject of integrating scientist spirit into ideological and political education of college students.Therefore,this paper is based on Xi Jinping’s statement about the spirit of scientists,explains the concept of scientific spirit and scientist spirit,analyses and compares the connection and difference between the two concepts;analyzes concretely six basic connotations of scientist spirit.At the same time,defines the the realistic requirements of integration.On the basis of theoretical analysis,with the help of questionnaires,it analyzes the problems in the integration process,such as the lack of smooth transformation of the integration discourse,the lack of systematic planning of the integration content,and the specific way of integration.Based on the three kinds of problems in the process of integration,it further analyzes these reasons.Such as negative impact by the pluralistic trend of thought,the integration system of colleges and universities is not perfect,the traditional education and teaching method is single.That is to say,the integration of scientist spirit into college students’ ideological and political education can be promoted from four aspects: strengthening students’ own recognition of scientist spirit,perfecting the elements of scientific spirit education in colleges and universities,perfecting the system and strategy of integrating scientist spirit into college students’ ideological and political education,and integrating internal and external environment.
