With the increase of the aging population,how support older people has become a significant problem.Besides,the elderly who suffer from deteriorating physical functions might quickly become immersed in the feeling of uselessness.Therefore,participating in activities or organizations can be an excellent way to present their positive values.However,there is a lack of research on elderly self-organization in pension institutions,and social work plays an important role in fostering elderly selforganization.The main problem of this paper is the strategy of social work to intervene in the self-organizing cultivation of the elderly.The research method is the case study.Under the guidance of the advantage perspective theory,from the perspective of"membership," "resilience," and "empowerment," this paper studies the practical process and cultivation strategy analysis of social work in the early,middle,and later stages of the cultivation of S newspaper editorial committee self-organization(from now on referred to as "s self-organization").In the practical process of social work involved in the cultivation of "s-self-organization," in the early stage of cultivation,the main practical processes include: first,the process of constructing the ecosystem system in the nursing home;Second,look for the core members of "self-organization";Thirdly,it makes a specific analysis of the experience advantages and existing advantages of the capable people of "s self-organization;Fourthly,establishing members’ identity with "sself-organization".In the middle stage of cultivation,the main practical process includes cultivating the ability of "s self-organization" members.Through eight actions,cultivate the personal adaptability,mobilization ability,negotiation ability,communication ability,cooperation ability,professional ability,problem-solving ability,and group leadership ability of "s self-organization." In the later stage of cultivation,the primary practical process includes two levels: establishing group norms and empowering new roles and organizational autonomy.The analysis of self-organization cultivation strategy from the perspective of advantages in the early stage of cultivation mainly analyzes the strategy of constructing an ecosystem of self-organization cultivation of the elderly,the strategy of complementary advantages of critical groups,the strategy of mobilizing the elderly from different levels,and the cultivation strategies of member identity;In the middle stage of cultivation,it mainly analyzes the Cultivation Strategies of member identity and group ability;In the later stage,it mainly analyzes the strategy of integrating advantages and resources,promoting the development strategy of self-organization and empowering new roles,and promoting the autonomy of "s-self-organization" function.Through the strategic analysis of social workers’ involvement in the cultivation of self-organization in the elderly,the following conclusions are drawn: First,the strategy of social work in different stages using the concept of advantage perspective can effectively guide the success of self-organization training of the elderly;Secondly,social work intervention in the ecosystem strategy of self-organization in the elderly is the necessary basis for self-organization cultivation.Thirdly,complementary advantages of critical groups,the establishment of internal and external identity,progressive ability cultivation,and empowerment of new roles are several effective strategies of social work in the process of self-organization cultivation of the elderly.Fourthly,due to the influence of internal and external environmental factors,the stage of fostering elderly self-organizing in the nursing home only experienced the breeding,seed germination,and seedling stage but failed to develop to the stage of the sapling and big trees.
