| Aggressive behavior refers to the behavior that the attacker has direct intention and causes harm to others.Aggressive behavior will not only cause great harm to the physical and mental health of the attacked, but also have a negative impact on the attacker himself.Studies show that junior high school students’ aggressive behavior is increasing day by day.It is particularly necessary to discuss the factors affecting junior high school students’ aggressive behavior and its intervention.Multiple studies have linked control to aggressive behavior, suggesting that a lack of control can lead to aggressive behavior.Manipulation of sense of control in the laboratory can divide sense of control deprivation into short-term deprivation and long-term deprivation based on the difference in time and influence on people. However,no study has investigated the influence of short-term deprivation and long-term deprivation on junior high school students’ aggressive behavior in the same experimental context. Therefore,In this study, conceptual judgment task and competitive response time paradigm were used to investigate the effects of short-term and long-term sense of control deprivation on junior high school students’ aggressive behavior. In addition, when individuals in a loss of control to control the compensation, studies have shown that touch impact on an individual’s sense of control, and the sense of touch is associated with aggression in the cerebral cortex, but their relationship still needs further empirical research, this study will explore touch to control the deprivation of junior middle school students sense of control and the impact of attacks, and provides theoretical support for the intervention of junior middle school students’ sense of control and aggressive behavior. This paper consists of two experiments.A total of 120 junior high school students were recruited for the experiment 1,with 30 students in each group. In this study,we conducted a conceptual judgment task and competitive response time paradigm, for 2(types of control deprivation: maintenance and deprivation)× 2(duration: short and long)between subjects,to investigate the effects of different duration deprivation on the sense of control and aggressive behavior of junior middle school students.Participants were divided into two groups:maintenance and deprivation, and two groups: short and long duration. The results showed that the score of sense of control in the sense of control deprivation group was lower than that in the sense of control maintenance group, and the mean noise intensity value of the former group was higher. The mean noise intensity value of the short-term deprivation group was higher than that of the long-term deprivation group, that is,there were more aggressive behaviors. In experiment 2,128 subjects were recruited, with 32 participants in each group. The manipulations of sense of control and aggression were measured in the same paradigm as experiment 1,with tactile manipulations employing a product evaluation task, for 2(the deprivation of control type: a short time deprived and long time deprived)× 2(touch: soft touch and hard touch)between subjects design, exploring the sense of touch to control deprivation sense of control and the influence of the attack in junior high school students. The results showed that under the short-term deprivation condition, the control sense score of soft tactile subjects was higher than the hard tactile subjects, and the mean noise intensity value of soft tactile subjects was lower than that of hard tactile subjects. In the long term deprivation condition, the hard tactile subjects had a higher sense of control score than the soft tactile subjects, and the former chose a lower mean noise intensity value than the latter, but not statistically significant. In summary, the study draws the following conclusions :(1)both short-term and long-term deprivation can lead to the loss of sense of control, junior high school students with low score of sense of control show more aggressive behaviors, and junior high school students with short-term deprivation have more aggressive behaviors than those with long-term deprivation.(2)In the short-term deprivation condition, the soft touch can increase the sense of control more effectively than the hard touch, and reduce the aggressive behavior of junior high school students; In the long-term deprivation condition, the hard sense of touch can increase the sense of control more effectively than the soft sense of touch, and there is no significant difference in aggression. In the hard tactile condition,short-term deprivation subjects showed more aggressive behaviors than long-term deprivation subjects. |
