As a common problem of improper use of the Internet, deviant behavior online exists widely in the youth group represented by middle school students. Moreover, deviant behavior online is not only related to the safety of teenagers’ Internet use,but also affects their Internet use experience. Moreover,it is also closely related to Internet addiction, problematic Internet use and other problems of excessive Internet use, which will eventually bring a lot of disadvantages to the development of teenagers’ psychosocial ability. Therefore,in view of the universality and harmfulness of deviant behavior online in middle school students,it is necessary to investigate the influencing factors and interaction mechanism of deviant behavior online and provide guidance for subsequent educational practice intervention. At present, researchers have investigated the influence of demographic factors, individual psychological factors and social environmental factors on deviant behavior online and obtained a series of preliminary research results. However, based on the survey of existing studies, most of them choose college students as research subjects and pay little attention to middle school students. Moreover, the discussion on the antecedent variables of deviant behavior online is relatively limited. With the rapid development of China’s social economy and the widening gap between the rich and the poor, the sense of relative deprivation arises at the right moment and becomes a common phenomenon among contemporary citizens.Based on relevant theories and empirical research results, relative deprivation may be a key factor affecting the generation and development of adolescent deviant behavior online. In addition.there may be a complex mediation and moderation mechanisms between the sense of relative deprivation and the behavior of deviation online. Therefore, this study will investigate the relationship between the sense of relative deprivation and the network deviation behavior and its internal mechanism, and based on the mechanism of action, carry out group support to explore the group guidance mode can effectively reduce the network deviation behavior of secondary vocational students.Based on the questionnaire survey method, our data were collected from 1241 secondary vocational school students in Nanyang city,Henan province on their deviant behaviors online, relative deprivation, basic psychological needs and sense of control.SPSS 22.0 and SPSS macro were used to analyze and process the relevant data.On this basis,a sample of 26 students whose scores of deviant behaviors online was at the top 27%in the study participant groups was randomly selected and average divided into experimental group and the control group, and then examined the efficacy of self-developed group intervention method in reducing students’ levels of deviant behavior online. The results showed that:(1)relative deprivation was significantly and positively was Internet flaming, deception, pornography behaviors, and significantly and negatively related with basic psychological needs and sense control;basic psychological needs, and sense of control, were negatively and significantly correlated with deviant behavior online.(2)basic psychological needs and sense of control played a sequential mediating role in the relationship between secondary vocational students’ relative deprivation and three kinds of deviant behaviors online, that is,basic psychological needs and sense of control immediately played a independent mediating role, but also could play a combined sequential mediating role.(3)self-designed group counseling program based on basic psychological needs and sense of control could significantly promote students’ basic psychological needs and sense of control, and reduce their levels of deviant behaviors online. Finally, this study concludes with the discussion regarding the research implications and the potential research direction in the future, and provides some feasible suggestions and enlightenment for the educational practice intervention of teenagers’ deviant behavior online. |
