In recent years,the aggressive behavior of junior high school students emerges in an endless stream and attracts much attention.According to the research at the present stage,aggressive behavior is a relatively common bad phenomenon among adolescents,children and middle school students.Middle school students are now in a special period,most of the time in school,so school is one of the typical places where aggressive behavior is caused by the environment.Previous studies have shown that campus atmosphere has a profound effect on adolescent aggression.At present,the analysis and discussion of campus atmosphere began late in China,and most of the researches focus on the internal relationship between campus atmosphere and academic performance.The number of researches and analyses on campus climate and aggressive behavior is relatively small,and the research direction is still unexplored.School is the closest external environment for teenagers’ inner connection.A number of researchers in China are now analyzing adolescent aggression.Other researchers,however,have analyzed how schools play a role in the initiation of aggressive behavior by minors.At present,the research on the integration of adolescents and schools is insufficient,and researchers still need to actively and systematically explore the aggressive behavior of adolescents.Therefore,this study conducted a questionnaire survey on 800 junior high school students from 4 rural and urban schools in Xiangtan City,Hunan Province,using the campus atmosphere questionnaire,the aggressive behavior questionnaire and the self-control questionnaire.The research results showed that:(1)The campus atmosphere has significant differences in gender and grade,and there is no significant difference in whether it is an only child;there are significant differences in selfcontrol in gender,grade,and whether it is an only child;the aggressive behavior of junior high school students is significantly different in grade,and there is a significant difference in gender,There is no significant difference in whether it is an only child.(2)The campus atmosphere has a significant negative predictive effect on the aggressive behavior of junior high school students,indicating that a positive campus atmosphere can slow down the occurrence of aggressive behavior of junior high school students to a certain extent.(3)There is a significant negative correlation between self-control and aggressive behavior of junior high school students.(4)There is a significant positive correlation between campus atmosphere and self-control.(5)Self-control has a significant mediating effect between the campus atmosphere and the aggressive behavior of junior high school students.It is concluded that the campus atmosphere can not only directly affect the aggressive behavior of junior high school students,but also reduce the level of aggressive behavior by improving the level of self-control of junior high school students.
