The teaching status of the concept of green chemistry and the development of students' "scientific attitude and social responsibility" key competency in three senior high schools of different levels in a city of Heilongjiang Province were investigated by questionnaire.The survey results showed that the students' cognitive level of the concept of green chemistry was not high,and the development of "scientific attitude and social responsibility" key competency was not good.According to the survey results,under the guidance of life education theory,STSE education theory and meaningful learning theory,the green chemistry teaching design based on the accomplishment of "scientific attitude and social responsibility" competency was completed and put into practice.The practice results were found after statistical analysis by SPSS software that the green chemistry teaching design based on the accomplishment of "scientific attitude and social responsibility" competency can not only improve students' knowledge of the concept of green chemistry,but also enhance students' "scientific attitude and social responsibility" literacy.
