| In recent years,the government has paid more and more attention to social work,and has formulated and promulgated a series of policies to cultivate social workers to become the important force in social governance and construction.However,in this process,due to the influence of external environment and self-factors,some social workers have a low degree of professional identity,which further increases the risk of the loss of the industry talents and leads to the instability of the talent team in the industry.The loss of social workers will increase the personnel management cost of social service organizations,affect the cohesion within the organization and the quality of each work,and then hinder the long-term development of the organization.Professional identity is the internal driving force of social work specialization and professionalization development.Only by reaching a high degree of professional identity,social workers can give full play to the professional value of social work to help others and help themselves,and actively practice social services.Based on ERG theory,social identity theory and self-identity theory,this study further reveals the influencing factors of social workers’ professional identity in Jiangxi Province by discussing the relationship among four variables: professional identity,decent work,perceived organizational support and turnover intention,and provides suggestions for improving the level of social workers’ professional identity,thus reducing the turnover rate of social workers.Specific research methods such as literature research,questionnaire survey and in-depth interview are adopted.A total of 282 valid questionnaires are collected in Jiangxi Province and 10 social workers are interviewed in depth.Exploratory factor analysis,confirmatory factor analysis,descriptive statistics analysis,variance analysis,structural equation model test and so on are carried out on the relevant data by using SPSS23.0 and AMOS23.0 software.The following conclusions are drawn: Firstly,the overall level of social workers’ professional identity in Jiangxi Province is high,among which,the occupational value perception is the highest,followed by occupational attribution,and finally occupational safety.Secondly,as soon as the demographic characteristics are concerned,there are significant differences in the professional identity between social workers of certified or not,while there are no significant differences in the professional identity of social workers with different gender,age,marital status,education level,professional education background,working years,position and income.Thirdly,decent work negatively affects the turnover intention of social workers.Fourthly,decent work positively affects the professional identity of social workers.Fifthly,professional identity negatively affects the turnover intention of social workers.Sixthly,professional identity plays an intermediary role in the process of decent work’s influence on turnover intention.Seventhly,the sense of organizational support plays a moderating role in the influence of professional identity on turnover intention.According to the above conclusions,this study puts forward that the professional identity of social workers in Jiangxi Province can be improved from three aspects: occupational safety,occupational ownership and occupational value. |
