| The new round of curriculum reform in China highlights the connection between subject curriculum teaching,students’ life and social reality.The current high school geography teaching focuses on the teaching of textbook knowledge,ignoring students’ life and social reality.Carrying out geography comprehensive practical activity course in high school is conducive to guiding students into society,approaching nature,paying attention to social life and participating in it,and are also conducive to the cultivation of students’ core geographic literacy.It is found that both anchored instruction and comprehensive practical activity course focus on cultivating students’ problem-solving skills,and they have a high degree of fit in some aspects.As a more mature teaching model,it is of great practical significance to study the application of anchored instruction in the implementation of the curriculum of geography comprehensive practical activity course in high school.Based on the research on the theory and practice of comprehensive practical activity course,aiming at the nature and characteristics of the curriculum,and characteristics of the geography subject in high school as well as combining the advantages of the anchored instruction,the thesis explores the application of anchored instruction in the comprehensive practical activity course of high school geography.The following conclusions are drawn:1.According to the results of questionnaires and faculty interviews survey,the existing problems in the current geography comprehensive practical activity course are analyzed.Sspecifically,the main problems include insufficient teachers and irrelevant concepts and lack of corresponding training of teachers and insufficient class time and being selective rather than for all students.2.By analyzing the anchored instruction and comprehensive practical activity course in terms of teaching objectives,teaching content selection,teaching process and teacherstudent role orientation,and effect evaluation,the feasibility of this study is pointed out.The analysis suggests that the application of anchor teaching in the comprehensive practical activity course of high school geography is conducive to the flexible and diversified acquisition of knowledge by students and the construction of a harmonious teacher-student relationship.3.The implementation strategies and suggestions for offering the course are put forward from three aspects:(1)for high schools,it is necessary to do a good job in overall coordination and introduce high-quality teachers;and to make full preparations and formulate a reasonable teaching system.(2)for teachers,it is suggested to change ideological concepts and update teaching methods,to expand teaching content,and to guide students effectively.(3)for students,it is important to learn to study independently and to be good at finding problems,to pay attention to personal experience,and flexibly choose activity methods.4.The basic links and principles of teaching design for the high school geography comprehensive practical activity course based on anchored instruction are discussed in detail.Taking the sixth chapter "Natural Disasters" in the compulsory volume of geography of People’s Education Press as an example,the teaching case is designed as a example reference,and the relevant contents of People’s Education Press of the textbook that are suitable for the geography comprehensive practical activity course are sorted out. |
