Research And Application Of Comprehensive Practical Activities Teaching Of Geography In High School

Comprehensive practical activities of geography in high school are an open form of teaching,which advocates students' active participation and reflects the student-centered teaching concept.And this teaching form is in line with this concept of learning dailylife-useful geography which the "geography curriculum standard for senior high schools" emphasizes.In addition,comprehensive practical activities of geography that are helpful to students' overall development can promote the cultivation of students' practical geography and integrated thinking.The introduction of comprehensive practical activities of geography in high school can respond positively to the requirements of geography curriculum standards and be helpful to carry out labor education for students in dailylife.This paper mainly adopted the methods of literature research,questionnaire survey,qualitative research and the statistical analysis.Under the guidance of constructivism theory,"learning by doing" theory and life education theory,the following research contents were completed:Firstly,students' attitudes and perceptions toward comprehensive practical activities of geography in high school were investigated through a questionnaire.More than 80%of the students had positive attitudes towards comprehensive practical activities of geography and indicated that they were very willing to participate in comprehensive practical activities of geography.In addition,the content of this new and interesting teaching form is closely related to life,which is the main reason why students hold a positive attitude.Secondly,through the results of teacher interviews,this paper analyzed the current development of comprehensive practical activities of geography in senior high school.Combined with the students' questionnaire survey results,it was concluded that there were four main problems in the way of carrying out comprehensive practical activities of geography in senior high school geography teaching,namely,the lack of teaching elements,the convergence of activity forms,the single evaluation method and the obstruction of the implementation of curriculum reform.Thirdly,in view of the main problems existing in the way of carrying out comprehensive practical activities of geography in senior high school geography teaching,this paper put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions,including perfecting teaching elements,enriching activity forms,implementing diversified evaluation and implementing curriculum reform.Finally,according to the proposed countermeasures and suggestions,a teaching case of high school geography comprehensive practical activities in line with the geography curriculum standards,geography teaching materials and students' acceptance was designed,which verified that comprehensive practical activities of geography in high school had good teaching effects.At the same time,the content of labor education was integrated into the case,which not only teached students knowledge,but also cultivated students' geographical core literacy.Through teaching feedback,the case was revised and improved.Through the teaching design in the form of geographical investigation,geographical investigation and geographical experiment,carrying out comprehensive practical activities in high school geography teaching can pay equal attention to teaching students' knowledge and improving their ability,and implement labor education.In view of the current situation that the comprehensive practical activities of geography have not been widely popularized and used,the research on the comprehensive practical activities of geography in senior high school will help to improve the quality and efficiency of geography teaching and make the core literacy take root in geography teaching in senior high school.
