The Ministry’s edition of the compulsory "Whole Book Reading" for high school Chinese specifies that the reading work is Fei Xiaotong’s "Rural China".However,there are relatively few academic studies on "Whole Book Reading" in "Rural China".These studies have paid attention to the current situation and teaching strategies of "Whole Book Reading" teaching in "Rural China",but failed to carry out detailed research on teachers’ teaching design,students’ reading methods,and teachers’ necessary qualities.In view of this,on the basis of the existing research on "Whole Book Reading" in "Rural China",this thesis takes the teaching design of "Rural China" "Whole Book Reading" in a middle school in Dongcheng District,Beijing as the research object.,summarize and analyze its merits and demerits,and then put forward concrete and feasible curriculum design strategies.First of all,the author focuses on sorting out the relevant research theories and practical examples of the whole book reading at home and abroad,looking for the weak points of the research,in order to supplement and improve the relevant research on the whole book reading,for the "whole book reading" The implementation of teaching provides useful insights.In addition,the author expounds the design of the "Whole Book Reading" curriculum in "Rural China" as a whole,including the determination of the "Whole Book Reading" bibliography,the selection of auxiliary books,the basis for determining the teaching objectives of "Whole Book Reading",and the teaching methods.Statement of goals and lesson planning.Secondly,the author takes the teaching design of "whole book reading" of "Rural China" in a middle school in Dongcheng District,Beijing as the research object,conducts in-depth research on the teaching content of six specific teaching hours,and analyzes its uniqueness and its need for improvement.It provides a theoretical basis for the formulation of the teaching design of "Whole Book Reading" in "Rural China".Moreover,based on this,the author analyzes its teaching effectiveness,and explores the connection between the teaching implementation and effectiveness of "Whole Book Reading" in "Rural China",in order to help the smooth implementation of "Whole Book Reading" teaching and how to achieve better results.Provide insights and suggestions on teaching effectiveness.Finally,the author puts forward specific countermeasures from the aspects of teachers’ professional quality,students’ awareness of reading academic works,and the implementation of "curriculum-based",in order to improve the teaching design of "whole book reading" in "Rural China",promote its effective implementation,and improve the "full-book reading" teaching design.The implementation efficiency of "Whole Book Reading" can effectively improve the reading ability of high school students’ academic works.
