Ethics and rule of law is a basic course for middle school students in China at the junior high school stage,which undertakes the important task of cultivating virtue through education,which requires junior high school ideological and political class teachers to pay attention to the ideological and moral education of the curriculum in the teaching process of transmitting the theoretical knowledge of the textbook to students,and should also pay attention to the continuous innovation of teaching concepts and teaching methods.Therefore,with the continuous advancement of the reform of the basic education curriculum under the background of the new curriculum reform,experiential teaching,with its advantages and characteristics in giving full play to the subjectivity of the teaching object,the emotional nature of the teaching process,the openness of the teaching content,and the interactivity of teaching activities,has increasingly become an inevitable choice for junior high school political class teachers to change their teaching concepts and implement the fundamental tasks of cultivating virtue through education and the requirements of the new curriculum standards.However,what cannot be ignored is that in the actual teaching process,the traditional "indoctrination" teaching concept still affects the selection and application of experiential teaching methods of some ideological and political class teachers to a certain extent,which is not only contrary to the curriculum standards of Ethics and Rule of Law,but also inconsistent with the personality and psychological characteristics of junior high school students.Therefore,this thesis comprehensively uses the questionnaire survey method,case analysis method,literature analysis method and other research methods,takes the application of experiential teaching in the junior high school Ethics and Rule of Law course as the research object,focuses on analyzing and discussing the problems and reasons existing in the practical teaching application,and combines the actual teaching cases to explore the coping strategies to solve these problems,in order to promote experiential teaching in attaching importance to the cultivation of students’ independent learning ability,improving students’ classroom experience and participation feelings,and promoting students to develop knowledge-feeling-intention.The good moral habits of unity play an important role,and thus make the ideological and moral character of the junior high school Ethics and Rule of Law class manifest.Specifically,this thesis consists of five parts: the first part is a preface,which introduces the objective and significance of the topic selection,the current situation of domestic and foreign research,the important methods of research and the innovation points of the thesis.The second part is an overview of the theory related to experiential teaching,which briefly introduces the basic connotation,related characteristics and theoretical basis of experiential teaching.The third part explains the feasibility and importance of experiential teaching in the teaching of Ethics and the Rule of Law.The fourth part analyzes the application status of experiential teaching in practical classroom teaching through questionnaire surveys and interviews,and finds the existing problems and causes.The fifth part puts forward specific coping strategies from four aspects:curriculum resources,teaching methods,ideological and political functions,and evaluation systems,based on the questions in the questionnaire survey,and provides reference for the current teaching of Ethics and Rule of Law.
