Under the background of comprehensively promoting the rule of law and building a socialist society ruled by law,the status of education in the rule of law is becoming more and more important.Junior high school students are the successors and builders of the socialist cause.Strengthening the rule of law education for junior high school students can help reduce the phenomenon of juvenile delinquency and promote the construction of a harmonious society.Rule of law education is also the key to cultivating the awareness of the rule of law among young people,such as freedom consciousness,equality consciousness,rights and obligation consciousness.In addition,the socialization of young students is also inseparable from the promotion of rule of law education.As far as the current situation is concerned,although the junior high school "Moral and Rule of Law" course has achieved certain results in the rule of law education,it is mainly reflected in the richer resources of the rule of law education,the awareness of the rule of law for junior high school students has been greatly improved,and a certain amount of education has been accumulated.Practical experience,but there are also some problems,mainly due to insufficient attention to the rule of law education curriculum,the concept of rule of law education is relatively backward,the level of teachers’ legal knowledge is low,and the combination of teaching and practice is not close enough.The reason for these problems is that the teaching subject fails to recognize the characteristics of the students,the quality of the rule of law education system is not high,and the lack of rule of law education for the family and social subjects.The most important thing is that it does not grasp the core elements of the rule of law education,and does not take the basic rule of law awareness as a starting point.Problems such as the single teaching method of the rule of law education and the lack of practicality of the teaching content still exist.The quality of rule of law education in the "Moral and Rule of Law" class in junior high school can be improved by the following measures:getting rid of the influence of exam-oriented education,establishing correct teaching concepts,improving the overall quality of rule-of-law education,paying attention to the characteristics of students,changing educational methods,and improving teaching methods.Only after these measures are implemented in specific classroom teaching can we promote the effective development of rule of law education in junior high school,effectively improve the awareness of the rule of law among junior high school students,and ultimately help to improve the rule of law environment in China.
