With the basic education curriculum reform,the reform of the state of moral education in junior middle school gradually began to pay attention to it,and constantly revised moral lessons in junior high school curriculum standards,and in the Ministry of education has also announced the "moral" of junior high school class was renamed to"morality and law" course,will cultivate the citizens "the rule of law education" to"moral education" and the same important position.What’s more,our country opened the compulsory course of Morality and the Rule of Law to the middle school students,focusing on cultivating students’ consciousness of citizens and improving students’moral self-cultivation and law cultivation.So how to improve the junior middle school students’ moral and legal literacy and practical and applied ability is the top priority of this course.With the introduction of more and more foreign learning methods,experiential learning gets more and more welcome from a larger number of experts and practical teachers.However,from the researches achieved in recent years,there is not much application of experiential learning in the course of Morality and the Rule of Law.Nevertheless,the findings from researches are mostly based on their own teaching experience of practical teachers,which end up with few valuable achievements.As a graduate student of political education,the author read a lot of literature of experiential learning.And combined with the true experience during internship,the author made a certain degree of exploration for application of experiential study in the Morality and the Rule of Law class.In this way,the author hopes to better improve the theoretical research ability and practical ability in education by "standing on the shoulders of giants".This thesis consists of six parts altogether:the first part is introduction,mainly elaborated the reasons,purposes and significances of the selected topic,and current domestic and abroad researches about the topic,and methodology,and the participants and the scope of research.The second part introduces the related concepts of experiential learning and theoretical foundation,respectively discusses the meaning of experience,experiential learning and the experiential learning in morality and the rule of law.From Situated cognition learning theory,humanistic learning theory and Dewey’s Experiential Learning Theory,this part is going to explore the theoretical supports for experiential learning,which suggests that experiential learning is reasonable in history and in real life.The third part stated the real value of experiential learning in applying to the course of Morality and the Rule of Law in junior high school.It was reflected from three aspects:improving the learning efficiency,forming innovative thinking,and jointly build a harmonious relationship between teachers and students.The fourth part analyzed the teaching principles and strategies of experiential learning in teaching Morality and the Rule of Law in junior middle school.The author summarized "three principles" and "five major strategies" to explore the practical application of experiential learning.The fifth part discusses the design of experiential learning in teaching Morality and the Rule of Law in junior middle school.The Cantonese version of textbook as an example,through the contrast research based on the teaching practice during the experimental class and the control class two class to analyze the application of experiential learning in junior middle school moral and the rule of law in the teaching effectiveness.The sixth part is the reflection of experiential learning in this course in junior middle school,and it also summarizes some of its pitfalls and suggestions in teaching practice.Based on the study of experiential learning theoretically and practically and the specific investigation,it is concluded that experiential learning is a very positive and effective way of learning in teaching Morality and the Rule of Law in junior middle school by allowing students experience by themselves and completing their own subjective experience and emotional experience.
