With the popularization of virtual reality,augmented reality has also attracted much attention.Augmented reality technology integrates computer-generated 2D or3 D virtual information into the user’s desired information through 3D display technology,interactive technology,various sensing technologies,computer vision technology,etc.experience in the real environment.Unlike virtual reality,augmented reality perfectly combines virtual scenes with the real world to bring a visual experience.In recent years,national policies have strongly supported the modernization and informatization of education,and modern information technology is regarded as an important means to promote the process of education reform.AR technology,as a new type of information technology means,plays an important role in improving the quality of education,and is increasingly Many researchers are engaged in the exploration of the combination of augmented reality technology and education and teaching.Based on previous educational experiments,augmented reality technology has been proven to be one of the effective means to improve learning outcomes.Therefore,how to use augmented reality technology to develop teaching resources and apply them to teaching activities reasonably and accurately has always been a hot topic of research by experts and scholars at home and abroad.In geography teaching,there are currently only a single type of teaching products developed using augmented reality,and there are many knowledge contents that can actually be used to develop AR teaching resources.This study uses a variety of research methods and combines the research status of augmented reality technology at home and abroad.It can be seen that the development of subject teaching resources based on augmented reality technology is still in the exploratory stage learned products.This research is based on a variety of educational theories including situational cognitive learning theory,based on the principles of teaching resource design,and on the basis of demand analysis and development feasibility analysis.Design and development of resources.The design mainly includes frame design and logic design.With the help of Unity3 D software tools,the development of teaching resources includes environment construction,scene production,model development,material import,and function implementation.After the development of teaching resources is completed,it is applied in combination with the teaching objectives of this lesson.Adopt the quasi-experimental research method,determine the experimental class and the control class as the experimental objects,put forward experimental hypotheses,test the knowledge and ability levels of the students in the two classes,carry out experimental teaching,and then conduct post-testing,and provide AR teaching resources for the experimental class.Through the data collection,sorting and analysis,it is concluded that the application of AR technology in teaching can help students stimulate the initiative of learning,improve the effect of classroom teaching,and promote the improvement of teaching level.As a new teaching method,AR teaching resources have promoted the progress of teaching and the development of education to a certain extent.The AR teaching resources for junior middle school geography developed by this research not only enriches the theoretical and practical research on the combination of information technology and subject teaching,but also provides a reference for the subsequent development of teaching resources for educators.
