With the continuous attention of the state to basic education,curriculum reform is also gradually promoted,and the combination of information technology and curriculum is more and more in-depth.In recent years,the rapid development of virtual reality has brought new opportunities for education and teaching.More and more educators study how to apply virtual reality to education and teaching.The continuous integration of virtual reality and classroom teaching has promoted the development of education and teaching.With the continuous emergence of virtual reality teaching resources,the knowledge in textbooks has changed from two-dimensional to three-dimensional virtual,the presentation of teaching content has become diversified,and the teaching efficiency of teachers has been improved to a certain extent.The application of virtual reality in education and teaching can accelerate the informatization process of education and teaching,continuously promote the informatization development of teaching,and have a positive impact on the reform of education.In view of this,this study takes the interesting food chain in the content of primary school science curriculum as the starting point,and uses unity 3D development platform to design and develop a primary school science teaching resource based on virtual reality.Firstly,it analyzes the relevant policy documents of the state advocating the application of new technology,and puts forward questions.Then it expounds the research purpose and significance of this research.At the same time,it uses the literature research method to sort out,analyze and summarize the domestic and foreign primary school science education,the teaching application of virtual reality and the application literature of virtual reality in primary school science teaching,and then describes the main contents and methods of the research in detail.Secondly,it expounds the related concepts of virtual reality and teaching resources,and combs the relevant theoretical basis.Then,through the methods of interview and questionnaire,this paper analyzes the needs,and designs the primary school science teaching resources based on virtual reality combined with the characteristics of disciplines,learners,teaching objectives and teaching contents.Then select the appropriate development platform and tools to develop and test each functional module in the virtual reality teaching resources.Finally,the virtual reality teaching resources are applied to primary school science classroom teaching through questionnaire survey and quasi experimental research,and the application effect of the virtual reality teaching resources is counted and analyzed by using spass software.The results show that the average score and pass rate of the experimental class are higher than those of the control class.The students’ learning interest and attitude in the experimental class have been improved to a certain extent.The application of virtual reality teaching resources makes the teaching content more intuitive and visual,and the students’ satisfaction with using the virtual reality teaching resources is also high.It can be seen that the "interesting food chain" virtual reality teaching resources designed and developed can improve students’ ability to master scientific knowledge and learning effect to a certain extent.
