With the rapid development and popularization of information technology,the waves of various emerging technologies are driving new changes and opportunities in all fields of society.Virtual reality is the frontier of the development of emerging technologies.Experts and scholars have begun to pay attention to the research of virtual reality in the field of education.At present,the research focuses more on theory and teaching design research,and there are not many specific VR resource design and development and empirical research.Elementary science is a practice-based course,and it is particularly important to ensure that students actively explore in the classroom.Using virtual reality technology to carry out virtual inquiry learning can meet the needs of students’ hands-on operation and increase students’ interest and ability in inquiry.Inquiry ability is the basic guarantee for carrying out inquiry activities.Therefore,from the perspective of cultivating inquiry ability,this research will design and develop a primary school science teaching resource with the help of virtual reality(VR).The first chapter analyzes the state’s requirements for education informatization and the relevant policies for the application of virtual reality in the field of education.Combined with the primary school science curriculum standards,the relevant issues are analyzed,the research focus is on the design and application of VR teaching resources,and the main content and methods of the research are described in detail.The second chapter collects relevant research literature and books on the research status of virtual reality at home and abroad,and the cultivation of exploration ability.The analysis shows that virtual reality is in the primary stage in basic education research,and it is difficult to mobilize students’ interest in inquiry and improve inquiry ability due to the limitation of inquiry activities in primary school science courses.The author sorts out and analyzes the relevant theories,and realizes the design and development on this basis.The third chapter is to understand the needs of teachers and students by means of questionnaires and interviews,analyze the feasibility of carrying out inquiry activities in the virtual environment,and preliminarily discuss the design of VR teaching resources on the basis of teaching objectives and teaching content,and propose the design of VR teaching resources.Strategies,including goals,principles,elements,situation,activity design,and specific design from interface,scene,content,interaction,and process.The fourth chapter,this chapter introduces the development process of VR teaching resources in detail,including the selection of adaptation tools,development platforms,development links and specific steps.The fifth chapter,this chapter designs a teaching plan around the teaching mode of "Guide Exhibition Evaluation".The preand post-experiment data were collected by issuing test questionnaires.The analysis concluded:VR teaching resources promote the level of inquiry knowledge,inquiry interest and attitude,and have significant effects in improving the ability to conjecture and hypothesis,formulate plans,analyze and verify,communicate and reflect,and summarize.There is no significant improvement in the level of questioning ability.The sixth chapter summarizes the whole research content,puts forward the innovations and shortcomings of this research,summarizes the experience for the improvement of VR teaching resources,and looks forward to the application of virtual reality in education in the future. |
