The traditional single-article intensive reading teaching mode occupies a dominant position in Chinese reading teaching,but there are some obvious deficiencies in cultivating students’ core Chinese literacy,making it difficult for students to fully develop.The group text reading teaching method emerges from time to time.With its advanced teaching concept and novel teaching form,it promotes the development of Chinese reading teaching and presents a new form,and provides a new practical way to break through the difficult situation for the current high school Chinese and prose reading teaching.It will help to further implement the requirements of the new curriculum standard,and can better promote the development of high school students’ Chinese core literacy.This teaching method has been applied and practiced more in the compulsory education stage,but there is not much applied research in the high school stage.This paper attempts to use the teaching method of group reading in the teaching of modern and contemporary Chinese prose in senior high school,explores a feasible way for the teaching of group reading in high school prose,and promotes the further development of the teaching method of group reading.This article focuses on the research on group reading teaching of Chinese prose in high school.The first part mainly discusses the origin of this research topic from the development trend of the times and the requirements of the new curriculum standard,and the purpose is to seek new teaching methods.Then,by sorting out the current situation of this research,discussing the significance of the research,various theoretical basis and method ideas,etc.,it sorts out the origin and future development direction of group essay reading,and defines the concepts of prose and group essay reading teaching method.The second part counts the number and types of selected Chinese modern and contemporary Chinese prose textbooks for senior high school Chinese textbooks,and conducts investigation and analysis from two aspects of teachers and students,and finds out the problems existing in the teaching of group prose reading in senior high schools.and reasons.The survey results show that most teachers and students realize the importance of using group text reading teaching to teach prose,but they do not have a deep understanding and fail to deeply understand the value and significance brought by group text reading teaching.Most teachers have insufficient or biased understanding of Qunwen reading,are not familiar with the essentials and procedures of operation,coupled with the huge pressure imposed by the school to enter higher education in the college entrance examination,the lack of active learning awareness of teachers themselves,the lack of advanced concepts and the lack of professional quality,which makes Qunwen The development of text reading teaching faces certain difficulties and obstacles.Most students hope that teachers will change the single-intensive teaching mode and show strong interest and willingness to use group text reading for teaching.Due to some discomfort,the effectiveness of group reading
