Since my country proposed the "Double First-Class" construction in 2015,colleges and universities have begun to pay more attention to the improvement of scientific research level to further enhance the quality and competitiveness of colleges and universities.As the core force of scientific research work,college teachers play an important role in promoting the improvement of scientific research level in colleges and universities,and their scientific research performance evaluation has become the focus of attention of colleges and universities.However,in recent years,the alienated value orientation of scientific research performance evaluation and unscientific performance evaluation methods have had a negative impact on the development of scientific research activities and the quality of scientific research results.At present,the single quantitative evaluation method adopted by Chinese universities under the influence of performanceism puts too much emphasis on the number of papers published by teachers,the citation rate,and the impact factor,which makes teachers worry about the "scientific research competition",which violates the academic standards in academic evaluation.Value orientation corrodes the academic ecological environment.Under this background,it is meaningful and necessary to understand the current situation and existing problems of scientific research performance evaluation of college teachers and make suggestions for improving the scientific research performance evaluation system of college teachers.Taking University A as an example,this paper summarizes and analyzes the current situation and problems of teachers’ scientific research performance evaluation in University A by issuing questionnaires to full-time teachers of University A and combining with interviews.At present,University A has begun to reform the orientation,standards,methods,and content of teachers’ scientific research performance evaluation,and has achieved certain results,but there are still some problems: First,the scientific research performance evaluation method is not reasonable enough;second,the evaluation cycle of scientific research performance is too short;third,the participation of teachers in the process of scientific research performance evaluation is low;fourth,the results of scientific research performance evaluation are not fully utilized;third Fifth,the degree of informatization of scientific research performance evaluation is low.On the basis of summarizing the problems,through the analysis of macro and micro perspectives,it is pointed out that there is "breaking" but not "standing",and policy implementation is in a dilemma of idling;academic administration,scientific research evaluation deviates from the original intention;path dependence,the deep-rooted quantitative evaluation thinking is the cause of the problem.deep reasons.In view of the problems in the evaluation of teachers’ scientific research performance in University A,this paper proposes that the relevant problems should be continuously improved from the perspective of the government and the school.At the government level,first,change the thinking and reshape the scientific education evaluation concept;second,there are "breaks" and "establishments",and the teachers’ scientific research performance evaluation system is reconstructed.At the school level,first,improve the method of scientific research performance evaluation and promote classified evaluation;second,appropriately extend the scientific research performance evaluation cycle and strengthen process management;third,unblock teachers’ feedback channels and improve teachers’ participation;fourth,make full use of scientific research The results of performance evaluation can promote the development of teachers;fifth,explore the information construction of scientific research performance evaluation to improve management efficiency.
