Ideological and Political Curriculum Standards for Ordinary Senior High Schools(revised in 2017 and 2020)clearly points out that ideological and political teaching in senior high schools helps to cultivate students’ core qualities in four aspects: political identity,scientific spirit,legal awareness and public participation.Today’s ideological and political courses take the cultivation of core literacy as their own responsibility,political identity is in the first place of core literacy,is the core of other literacy.It plays a positive role in guiding students to set up values,firm ideals and beliefs,and promote all-round development,which is conducive to the implementation of the fundamental task of moral education.The new curriculum standard also puts forward that topic teaching is an effective means to implement activity-based subject curriculum,and it is also a necessary way to cultivate students’ political identity quality in high school ideological and political curriculum.Therefore,based on the compulsory special course Socialism with Chinese Characteristics,this thesis studies the formation of high school students’ political identity accomplishment from the perspective of issue-based teaching.Through the research methods of literature analysis,questionnaire survey and interview,combined with the requirements of the new curriculum reform,the "new curriculum standard" and the characteristics of the new textbooks,the strategic exploration of the cultivation of high school students’ political identity literacy was carried out from the perspective of issue-based teaching.First of all,it explains related concepts,including the connotation,main content and importance of cultivating political identity literacy,as well as the connotation,characteristics and theoretical basis of issue-based teaching,and explains the significance of cultivating political identity literacy of senior high school students from the perspective of issue-based teaching.Secondly,taking "Socialism with Chinese Characteristics" as an example,through the method of questionnaire survey,classroom observation and interview in the teaching practice,we understand the current situation of the cultivation of political identity literacy of senior high school students from the perspective of issue-based teaching,and find that there are some problems: teachers lack in-depth understanding of issue-based teaching;The teacher’s creation of the topic is inappropriate;Students’ enthusiasm for classroom participation is low;The effect of teaching implementation deviates from the goal orientation of political identity literacy;Lack of evaluation of political identity literacy.The reasons behind it are analyzed carefully,including:lack of innovation in teacher education concept;Teachers lack the ability of topic teaching design;Lack of awareness and ability of students to participate in topic teaching;There is a contradiction between teaching capacity and class hour of the new textbook;The teaching evaluation system is not perfect.Thirdly,through comprehensive analysis and research,this thesis puts forward relevant strategies for the cultivation of political identity literacy of senior high school students by issue-based teaching from the perspectives of teachers,students,evaluation mechanism and teaching environment,including: strengthening the concept of issue-based teaching for teachers;To improve teachers’ literacy and skills in implementing issue-based teaching;Enhance students’ awareness and ability to participate in issue-based teaching;Improve the evaluation mechanism of the topic teaching class;Optimize the topic teaching environment.Finally,the "Realizing the Chinese Dream of the Great Rejuvenation of the Chinese Nation" in compulsory course 1 is selected as a class example for teaching practice and reflection,in order to achieve the purpose of cultivating students’ political identity through issue-based teaching in high school ideological and political lessons.
