The revitalization and development of football,basketball and volleyball(Hereinafter referred to as “Three Balls”)is a fundamental project for building a strong sports country in an all-round way,a key area for deepening sports reform,and a key part of promoting high-quality development of sports and running a sports undertakings satisfactory to the people.However,the shortage and insufficiency of competitive reserve talents are the main problems faced by the “Three balls”.To this end,the State Administration of Sports and the Ministry of Education have proposed to deepen the integration of sports and education,and build a multi-subject sports reserve talents training system for cooperation and co-construction.Taking the 2021 Guangzhou middle school basketball competition(junior high school groups)as the introduction,this research adopts the research methods such as literature analysis,questionnaire survey,interview,case study and mathematical statistics to investigate the 17 sports teams participating in the competition to provide paths and strategies for promoting the integration of sports and education and comprehensively improving the construction of basketball reserve talent teams.The following conclusions were drawn from the study:1.The survey of 17 junior high school basketball teams in Guangzhou shows that:the motivation of the players to participate in training is clear,but the contradiction between learning and training is prominent,and most of the players do not do well in their cultural classes;the coaches are mainly young and middle-aged teachers who have experience in basketball but are not at a high level,and most of the coaches are able to improve their coaching ability by attending various types of training at all levels.2.The training and competition arrangements of these 17 schools in Guangzhou are more reasonable.The training and competition are funded by the school,and the funding is from single source and inadequate.Medical coverage has not yet been improved.School leaders do not attach much importance to sports teams.3.Factor analysis reveals that there are five main factors affecting the development of basketball reserve talents in junior high schools in Guangzhou: the guarantee factor,the competitive training factor,the inducting factor,the coach factor and the player factor,among which the guarantee factor makes the highest contribution.4.The cooperation between Guangdong Experimental Education Group and Guangdong Hongyuan Basketball Club to build a basketball team highlights the effect of “integration of sports and education”.The sports team not only provides high-quality basketball reserve talents for the school,but also supports high-level professional coaches,which helps won many honors for the school’s sports development in the past three years;the school provides high-quality educational resources and good training environment for the sports team.In terms of team building,it reflects the sharing of interests and the sharing of funds.5.In view of the main problems in the development of basketball reserve talents in junior high schools in Guangzhou,it is suggested to strengthen and improve from the following five aspects: providing sufficient material security and increasing diversified funding sources;improving scientific management of training and establishing a sound competition system;deepening the integration of sports and education and strengthening policy protection;strengthening the deep learning of coaches and vigorously cultivating excellent coaches;broadening the scope of talent selection and building a smooth talent delivery chain.
