| The earliest generation of Gu Feng music can be traced back to 2004 to 2005.It has been less than 20 years since its born.It is a very young music genre.It is precisely because of the young age of Gu Feng music that there is still a considerable amount of research space for related research in academia.As a part of the online youth subculture,Gu Feng music has very important research value,whether it is to understand the social and cultural life of youth,or to study the influence of the Internet on cultural transmission,or to study the diversified inheritance of traditional culture.At present,most of the academic research on Gu Feng music is still in its definition,characteristics,dissemination and relationship with traditional culture.Few people pay attention to the production logic of Gu Feng music and the social factors behind it.From the selection of singer’s vocal timbre in the production process of Gu Feng music,this paper analyzes the stereotypes in the society that correspond to people’s identity,personality and timbre,as reflected in the choice of timbre of singers by music planners,as well as the various social factors that generate and strengthen such stereotypes.This paper consists of an introduction and four chapters.The introduction mainly expounds the origin and significance of the problem,and explains the research methods and perspectives used in this paper,as well as a review of domestic and foreign research.The first chapter gives a comprehensive overview of Gu Feng music,including the definition and origin,background and development of Gu Feng music,the production of Gu Feng music,and the division of labor in the production of Gu Feng music.The second chapter discusses the aesthetic preference for vocal timbre in Gu Feng music,as well as the naming of timbres and the phenomenon of corresponding timbres to specific identities and characters.The third chapter analyzes the essence of the phenomenon of timbre selection,that is,the stereotypes of specific social roles and timbres existing in society,and demonstrates from two aspects:gender stereotypes and social role stereotypes.Chapter forth discusses the causes of the aforementioned stereotypes in Gu Feng music.The study found that the reason for the choice of vocal timbre in the production of Gu Feng music is the existence of stereotypes about the existence of specific social roles and genders in society.The main reasons that lead to the formation of stereotypes include: the impact of social norms on gender and the existence of specific social roles in society,the habit of describing the voice of characters in ancient and modern literature,the habit of shaping the image of classical characters in modern film and television dramas,the mutual derivation and interaction among online youth subcultures,and the influence of Internet mass media on the content of dissemination through big data and algorithms.These are the key reasons for the stereotype of the correspondence between characters and vocal timbres in Gufeng music. |
