Vocal music is one of the popular art forms,which also deeply attracts the elderly.It plays a positive role in the psychological and physical health and interpersonal communication of the elderly.More and more universities and art training schools for the elderly provide a good platform for the elderly to learn vocal music.Taking Kunming Oriental College for the aged as an example,this paper introduces the development of Kunming Oriental College for the aged and the development process of vocal music.Starting from the basic information of the elderly vocal music students,it constantly explores the learning preferences of the elderly vocal music students,listens to the feedback of the elderly vocal music learning from many aspects,and refers to the relevant data and research results,Summarize its characteristics.Further from the elderly vocal music teaching methods and principles,the common phenomenon in the elderly vocal music teaching and solutions to explore.The purpose is to find out all kinds of contradictions in the teaching of vocal music for the elderly,so as to solve all kinds of contradictions and problems.We should constantly optimize the training program,adjust the class mode,improve the teaching and learning of vocal music for the elderly from more aspects,promote the continuous progress of vocal music learning for the elderly,and add new color to the life of the elderly students.
