College education is the last stage for most students to receive school education,and it is also an important process of cultivating students’ all-round physical and mental development.In the course teaching of colleges and universities,as a compulsory course,the teaching quality of college physical education plays a vital role in the physical and mental development of students.Therefore,how to constantly explore new teaching modes and strengthen teaching quality in college physical education curriculum teaching is an important content of college physical education curriculum reform and development in China.This study takes the application of "5E" teaching mode in the teaching of college physical aerobics as the research object,selects 65 students in the physical aerobics course of 2021 University of Northwest Normal University as the experimental object,uses the research methods of literature,expert interview,questionnaire survey,experiment and mathematical statistics,and takes the "5E" teaching mode as the theoretical basis,Firstly,this paper makes a comparative analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of "5E" teaching mode and conventional teaching mode in the teaching of college physical aerobics.Then it combines the advantages of the two teaching modes,makes a reasonable teaching design,applies the "5E" teaching mode in the teaching of college physical aerobics,and verifies the teaching effect through experiments.Finally,it puts forward the value,existing problems and suggestions of the application of "5E" teaching mode in the teaching of college physical aerobics.The research draws the following conclusions:1.The application of "5E" teaching mode in college physical calisthenics process teaching can be better implemented,and the teaching effect is good.2."5E" teaching mode and conventional teaching mode have obvious improvement effect on students’ body shape,physical quality and physical function,and the improvement effect is similar.3.Both the "5E" teaching mode and the conventional teaching mode can obviously improve students’ aerobics skills and theoretical achievements,but the teaching effect of "5E" teaching mode is obviously better than that of the conventional teaching mode.4.Compared with the conventional teaching mode,"5E" teaching mode can effectively stimulate students’ learning interest and sports motivation,and the effect is more significant in stimulating students’ learning interest.The conventional teaching mode has no obvious effect on the improvement of students’ learning interest and sports motivation.Advice:1.It is recommended that colleges and universities promote the "5E" teaching model in the teaching of university physical aerobics courses and other sports program courses,and conduct centralized training for physical education teachers through various channels to make them deeply understand the connotation and application methods of the "5E" teaching model.2.It is recommended that when physical education teachers use the "5E" teaching mode in the curriculum teaching of university physical aerobics courses or other sports projects,they should effectively combine the advantages of the "5E" teaching mode with the conventional teaching mode in the teaching design process,and design the teaching plan reasonably and effectively.3.It is recommended that physical education teachers pay attention to the rationality of the length of each teaching link when using the "5E" teaching model in the teaching of university physical education courses.4.Due to the limitations of teaching experimental conditions,the experimental sample size of this study is relatively small.It is recommended to expand the sample size in the future teaching experimental research of the "5E" teaching model to make the experimental sample more representative.
