In China, counselors,as an important part of college teachers, play a special role in the growth of college students, which has aroused great attention from many schoolers.Their research enthusiasm continues to rise, and the research results are quite abundant. Also worth attention, however, another group of counselors--parttime counselors played by postgraduates, together with its related research, are marginalized.Researchers inclined to starting from the research paradigm of full-time counselors,to analyze the related problems, which is easy to overlook the graduate students’ personality itself. As a postgraduate,I ’ve survived part-time counselor’s working experiences, during which I met a series crisis and challenge, hardship and struggle about the role of identity, and gained happiness, friendship, reflection and growth as well.I deeply feel the pluralism, complexity and interactivity of the role identity of postgraduate part-time counselors and realized its importance to the implementation of graduate student part-time counselor institution. In this study,I assume the dual identities of researcher and subject at the same time.Adopting the "three-dimensional narrative" exploration method of Connelly and Clendening,I carry out the whole analysis process around the scene, the scene text and the research text.As a party concerned,I personally experienced the sour, sweet, bitter and hot work of postgraduate part-time counselors, which became an important on-site basis for this study. The scene text is extracted from my work records, life records, personal memories and interactions with various groups(teachers, students, students, etc.)in work and study, from which I can excavate the logic of the construction and development of role identity.Taking "Role Identity Development as a Part-time Counselor" and "Role Identity Development as a Student" as the subject categories, this paper reconstructed seven stories of role identity development respectively.By describing the tension between the supposed role and the real role, the response and resolution of crisis, the text try to show the tortuous development process of role identity.According to the research topic of this paper "Role identity of postgraduate part-time counselors",the studying text explores the meaning base on the scene text from the perspective of constructivism, and uses these three questions--"Who am I ? ","Can I become a postgraduate part-time counselor ? ","How can I become a postgraduate part-time counselor ? " which the role identity try to answer to reframe the web of meaning. On the basis of narrative and meaning exploration, the following findings are made: The role identification of graduate part-time counselors is about the self-questioning and exploration of role players. It is a continuous and dynamic development process, and its construction and development need to take the community as the carrier.Based on these findings, this study suggests that the role identity of graduate part-time counselors should be improved and developed from three aspects: improving self-role,perfecting system construction and developing campus peer culture.
