With the increasing demand for skilled talents in the society,the state pays more and more attention to vocational education.As an educational institution responsible for the training of tour guide talents,secondary vocational schools play an important role in cultivating tour guide talents.Through the questionnaire survey and interviews on the tour guide majors of three secondary vocational schools in Kunming,Qujing and Yibin,it is found that the current practice teaching of secondary vocational schools generally has unclear training objectives,single teaching methods,teaching emphasis on theory rather than practice,and practice training bases the construction level is low and the teaching evaluation is single.Students’ professional ability generally has the phenomenon of insufficient English oral ability,computer operation ability,tourism planning related ability,independent analysis and thinking ability.In order to optimize the practical teaching of tour guide major in secondary vocational schools,the CBE model was introduced into the professional tour guide class of secondary vocational schools.According to the characteristics of the CBE model and the actual situation of the research school,taking the Stone Forest Scenic Spot of the "OnSite Tour Guide" course as an example,through analysis,design,implement teaching,and evaluate the teaching effect.The survey data shows that the application of the CBE model in the practical teaching of the tour guide professional course in secondary vocational schools has a significant positive effect.In practice,it summarizes the ways to improve the practical teaching of the tour guide major in secondary vocational schools,and puts forward suggestions mainly from three aspects: improving teaching design,strengthening the construction of practice bases,and improving the practical teaching ability of teachers,and constructing a practice-based practice in multiple ways.Teaching mode,so as to effectively improve the vocational ability of students majoring in tour guide in secondary vocational schools.
