With the continuous development of the times,the pace of life is getting faster and faster,and the pressure is increasing.The phenomenon of youth trampling on life frequently occurs,and the flower of life withers prematurely,and life education is getting more and more attention.On November 2,2021,the Ministry of Education formulated the "Guideline of Life Safety and Health Education in Primary and Secondary School Curriculum and Teaching Materials",which clearly integrates life education into primary and secondary schools,so that life education can better serve the growth of students.Among many subjects,ethics and law classes play a crucial role in the education of students because of their unique moral characteristics.It shares a common educational pursuit with life education and is the main force for life education.In order to improve life education at the junior high school level.After investigating relevant life education research at home and abroad,we propose practical measures for life education in order to construct a better life education teaching system and promote the better development of students’ lives in response to the problems existing in junior high school morality and rule of law classes.In order to construct a better life education teaching system and promote the better development of students’ lives.In addition to the introduction part,the main text of this article is divided into three parts.The first part clarifies the concepts of life education and introduces the theoretical basis of life education,including traditional Chinese philosophy of life,Marxist theory of life,Maslow’s theory of hierarchy of needs,and Xi Jinping’s discussion on the value of life,and also explains the necessity and feasibility of life education.The second part mainly describes the current situation of the implementation of life education in the teaching of morality and rule of law in junior high school.Firstly,through the analysis of the questionnaire results,it is understood that its implementation has achieved certain results,but problems also exist.The problems are generally manifested in four aspects: vague awareness of life education,limited teaching contents,overly intellectualized teaching objectives,and single old-fashioned teaching mode.Secondly,the reasons for the problems may lie in the lack of life education literacy in the teacher group,life education resources are not well tapped,the lack of innovation in life education teaching mode,and the lack of attention in schools.The third part focuses on the countermeasures of life education in teaching morality and rule of law in junior high school.Five major aspects of teachers,teaching objectives,teaching modes,teaching resources,and schools are specifically analyzed.Teachers should continuously strengthen the cultivation of teachers’ personality as well as cultural literacy.In terms of teaching objectives,we should pay attention to comprehensive development and divide the three-dimensional objectives.In terms of teaching resources,we should dig deeper and supplement in time.The teaching mode should be integrated with students’ life experience and keep up with the times.The school level should optimize the teacher team and actively organize practical activities.In turn,the students’ life consciousness will be improved,and the development of students’ life consciousness will be better promoted,teaching them to cherish and love life and create the value of life they deserve.
