The core content of the new curriculum reform is to promote the all-round development of students’ morality,intelligence,physique,beauty and labor.Under exam oriented education,moral education and aesthetic education have not received due attention,especially aesthetic education,which is easier to be ignored because it is more invisible.With the continuous deepening of curriculum reform,vocabulary such as mathematical beauty,mathematical appreciation,aesthetic education are more and more mentioned by educators and front-line mathematics teachers.In terms of theory,based on the needs of research,this paper defines the concepts of mathematical beauty,mathematical aesthetic ability and mathematical aesthetic education,and summarizes the relevant research from three aspects of mathematical beauty,mathematical appreciation and mathematical aesthetics based on constructivism theory,cognitive learning theory and emotion related educational theory.Through the research,it is found that scholars at home and abroad have made some achievements in the relevant research of mathematical aesthetic,However,the improvement of mathematical aesthetic ability and the improvement of mathematical aesthetic ability from the specific content teaching are the weak links of the current research.Through questionnaire survey and teacher interview,this paper finds the current situation of junior middle school mathematics aesthetic ability,which is reflected in different degrees of negative attitude towards mathematics class,low perception ability of mathematics beauty,less opportunities to appreciate mathematics beauty,low willingness to independently appreciate mathematics beauty,and the creative ability of mathematics beauty needs to be strengthened.In view of these problems,this paper puts forward teaching strategies to improve junior middle school students’ mathematics aesthetic ability.First of all,we should explore aesthetic factors and cultivate students’ ability to feel the beauty of mathematics,including improving students’ understanding of the noumenon of mathematical beauty and their ability to feel the beauty of mathematics in teaching materials and life;Secondly,we should strengthen the aesthetic quality and cultivate students’ ability to appreciate the beauty of mathematics,including shaping the teaching image of beauty,setting up a good problem situation,integrating the history of mathematics into classroom teaching and improving students’ aesthetic quality;Finally,we should devote ourselves to creative practice and cultivate students’ creative ability of mathematical beauty,including setting up open mathematical learning activities,improving the ability to create mathematical beauty in the construction of "knowledge group",and improving the ability to create mathematical beauty in problem solving.Finally,based on the proposed strategy,taking congruent triangle as an example,this paper makes a specific teaching design to illustrate how to carry out mathematical aesthetic teaching and make mathematical aesthetic teaching have examples to follow.The author’s goal is to let students find that there is rich beauty in mathematics through the development of mathematical aesthetic teaching,and can appreciate the beauty in mathematics,so as to create mathematical beauty,make mathematics learning more relaxed and pleasant,and add more hidden value.
