| Core competency is the essential character and key ability that students need for life-long development and social development.As the main part of the core competency,aesthetic education is an urgent need to develop.During mathematic teaching in primary school,it is obvious that students’ interests decrease as they get older.And the root cause lies that it’s hard for students to find the joy and beauty in mathematical learning.Therefore,it is necessary to integrate mathematical beauty into primary school mathematics teaching to promote the all-around development of students.On the basis of summarizing the related literature of mathematical beauty applied in primary school,this paper adopts the methods of literary analysis,case analysis,and questionnaire survey to explore the feasibility of mathematical beauty teaching in primary school both in theory and practice.And the content is divided into five parts:The first part introduces the background,significance,and methods when doing the survey of mathematical beauty and a summary of the research situation of mathematical beauty teaching at home and abroad.The second part introduces the theoretical basis of mathematical beauty,including the concepts and types.The third part presents the analysis of the investigation related to aesthetic teaching.Then it analyzes the problems and causes of primary school mathematics teaching,which comes to a conclusion that it is necessary to integrate aesthetic teaching into primary school mathematics teaching for the following reasons: it is conducive to achieve teaching goals and stimulating students’ interest in learning mathematics for teachers.And it is also helpful to the cultivation of good habits and promotes the all-round development of students.Then it analyzes more favorable factors of aesthetic teaching from the perspectives of teachers and students.The fourth part shows the current situation and analysis of mathematics beauty applied in primary school mathematics teaching.By analyzing the proportion of mathematics beauty in textbooks according to the statistics,it aims to fully explore the mathematics beauty in textbooks that can be applied in teaching.By using questionnaires,it aims to investigate the actual perceptions of teachers’ and students’ mathematical beauty.And it shows that the front-line teachers do have the consciousness to integrate mathematical beauty into teaching based on the understanding of it.And it also shows the analysis for the current mathematical beauty teaching cases.On the other hand,these statistics also show the degree of understanding and necessity of mathematical beauty of students,which can present the current teaching results of mathematical beauty and the necessity to understand mathematical beauty from another side.In the fifth part,it shows the mathematical beauty teaching strategy research based on above,which includes digging into the beauty in the textbooks,creating beautiful scenes,optimizing the teaching design,enhancing teachers’ aesthetic quality,enriching teaching methods,using information technology,and improving aesthetics teaching environment.The sixth part presents two class hours of "Tree Planting Problem" and "The Face of Parallelogram" as examples to specifically analyze how to conduct the mathematical beauty teaching in reality so that teachers can have a reference in future teaching. |
