Research On The Application Of Red Educational Resources In The Activities Of The Young Pioneers

In China,red resources are a valuable historical-cultural heritage of the Chinese revolution,a precious spiritual wealth of the Chinese people,a vivid representation of excellent traditional Chinese culture,and a spiritual source that guides young people in the new era.The Twentieth National Congress of the CPC proposed that we should promote the red spirits of the CPC,fully utilize red resources for patriotism education,and cultivate the new talent of the era who are fit for national revitalization.In accordance with the "Requirements on Utilizing Martyrs to Promote Red Resources and Enhance Patriotism Education for Young People" jointly issued by the Ministry of Education and other three ministries,we should utilize martyr memorial facilities as a red educational front to guide young people to actively commemorate,honor,and learn from revolutionary heroes or martyrs,cultivating their love for the Party,the nation and the socialism,so as to pass the red revolutionary traditions on to future generations;meanwhile,promote the development of red education by integrating red resources into the activities held by the Young Pioneers Group to guide our children to integrate their patriotism,their dream of the powerful nation,and their aspiration of serving the motherland into the historical process of the great revitalization of theChinese nation,with the aim of building the socialism with Chinese characteristics and a great modern socialist country.By means of literature research,survey,and case study on some elementary schools in the Inner Mongolia Region,this paper explored the theoretical foundations for the application of red educational resources in the activities of the Young Pioneers Group,then analyzed the application status quo to find out existing problems and shortcomings,and finally proposed some measures to optimize the application.In line with the new requirements on youth education in the new era,the paper linked "red educational resources" with "the Young Pioneers Group-held activities",i.e.cultivating children by the educational value of red resources in order to ensure continuous advancement of the revolutionary cause of the CPC.According to the research,regarding the application of red educational resources in the activities held by the Young Pioneers Group,improvements have been made in the construction/utilization of activity venues,the performance of the practical activities,and the support by schools for red education,showing an overall improving trend.However,there are still problems such as insufficient space provided for the activities,monotony in the activity form,low utilization of resources,and defects in system construction.Hence,we should further enhance the infrastructure for the application,improve activity methods,integrate social resources,and optimize relevant systems or mechanisms to maximize the value of red educational resources in the activities of the Young Pioneers Group as well as the excellent tradition and advantages of the Group in cultivating "young talent" or the CPC;in short,we should,by focusing on the task of "cultivating both morality and talent",keep carrying forward the red spirits and cultivating patriotism on our children,so as to provide qualified talent for the Party and for our nation in the new era.
